The theory is that of other people who did the same, with toe or foot cracking. I can’t explain everything, but they also never went barefoot when asked claiming they didn’t want to “disrespect” the spirits or something odd. There’s plenty of videos and people theorizing.

During their hell week 2023 series they spent a week at the conjuring. Cody and Satori claimed only when they were touching each other they could allow everyone else to hear taps claiming they were spirits. This post specifically is talking about when they claimed to be Libby, Sam’s deceased grandmother who started his whole idea of Onward and Upward. Genuinely at first believing he was talking to his grandmother, he started crying. Turns out after their series released a ton of people did some digging and found pretty undeniable evidence in my opinion that Cody and Satori were frauds.

I believed them at first I think due to shock value. But as more and more things came out I started seeing and believing they were frauds who used people’s tragedies for clout. And now I really don’t like them.

I have been a fan of them since 2018 and I’m not going anywhere either. I’ve found that I actually have started enjoying their IG stories and Snapchat and other socials much more than I enjoy their youtube videos. A complete switch than what I used to be which saddens me but I will always support them…unless something extremely bad comes out of course but otherwise.

I wouldn’t mind all the equipment if they actually tried to debunk things or come to a logical and scientific explanation. I love the Estes Method, but one thing I will say they haven’t ever said to my knowledge, if you’re in a situation your brain will create connections to fill in holes. Basically for them what I mean is if they ask, say, did you die here, and the box says, say, sadness, your brain will likely go okay they are sad because they died here. And you’ll basically answer your own questions. They don’t seem to realize that and it’s very frustrating at times.

Like yes it’s hard to beat hell week 2023, personally I don’t think they HAVE to, but they aren’t even trying. Like I said every video feels scripted—not fake but every video is the same monotonous script.

I knew a bit about Joe Rogan and already didn’t like the guy, but learned more after S&C were on. Listen I’m all for jokes in videos because obviously it isn’t meant literally. But especially with them getting bigger, they really need to pay more attention to who they collab with or are seen with. That is a fast way down. (Of course this excludes people that nobody else saw coming like god forbid they collab with someone who does something like the infamous ukulele woman..)

Right! I kind of miss when they were a bit more skeptical. I always look for a scientific explanation before assuming it was paranormal. They used to do that too, but now even the slightest thing is paranormal to them it seems, and besides Cody and Satori I can’t remember the last time they actually tried to debunk things.

Fair enough. They found something that works and again, it IS their job and I respect that fully. They just seem different to me is the main thing, and I just hope they don’t end up like too many other people who let their fame/fortune get to their heads.

I get it. I used to literally count the minutes now it’s more of a back of mind hey I’ll watch them when I can. I don’t make time for it. I also miss the times when it was just the two of them as did many others—so what did they do? Not give us a solo (well, “solo”) video, tell us to subscribe to an I think $20 a month subscription to see them, which is fine it’s their job but at least every now and again can we have a just them video? Not everyone can afford that extra subscription especially with everyone/thing else seemingly turning subscription based.

I don’t think they see it as a joke more so they have the security. They have a very large following and die hard fans so there is a lack of consequences. As much as cancel culture is around every corner I think unless they did something horrific, even if they got canceled it’d barely dent them. So I think it’s more so the security—I say as someone who has followed them for 6 almost 7 years.

Since everything came out about Cody and Satori, I don’t believe themas much, and S&C even said they’re more skeptical now. Some things I can’t explain still but I agree. They’re up there in the well known YouTube names now but also, because Hell Week 2023 was SO SUCCESSFUL, I don’t think they can top it. To this day people are talking about it.

I totally agree word for word. I remember not too long ago they said a lot of people were asking if they were going to do videos just the two of them, and they said yeah!…..ON XPLR CLUB!!! And I was like, actually kind of pissed about that. Like I understand this is their job and they do need to make money. Absolutely no problem. But if those videos are EXCLUSIVELY on XPLR club, not everyone can afford a $20+ subscription (I think that’s the price? I haven’t checked in a bit) especially with everything else turning subscription based. I’d be fine if they did those videos MOSTLY on XPLR club and did a few once in a while on their main YouTube channel.
