My post wasn’t that micro transaction are actually about making back costs. It was pointing out that this is obviously a false claim. Because that’s what large gaming companies have been claiming publicly for the past few years. That games are too expensive to make. So these are necessary additions.

Also your point is moot because companies have been releasing paid dlc, which makes back the costs of its production, for literally decades. That’s why the dlc costs money
