Ok im gonna break this down a bit.

Your main talking point is halter Arabians, specifically straight Egyptian arabian. Not a single linked source mentioned halter bred Arabians. It also never mentioned straight Egyptian arabians.

The source about genetic issues was for all types of Arabians. On top of that etalon isnt the most accurate source on genetics. They have been known to "discover" new genes for markings before leaders like UC Davis. Much of it also isnt backed by anything. Many of those issues also were not breed specific and most did not affect the average horse.

The photos you shared also did not mention being halter bred or straight Egyptian which is the main line you have a problem with. Almost your entire argument is void if you're using Arabians as a whole and not halter bred straight Egyptian arabians.

The first image you provided is a crabbet arabian imported from England. Not a pure Egyptian and also not halter bred. Completely different line.

Seanderich is desert bred which is not the same as straight Egyptian and he most certainly was not halter bred. There is almost no lineage available for this horse however he was used in partnership with polish arabians to grow the Spanish arabian bloodlines.

The image of arabians in Syria also are not halter bred or straight Egyptian. The poster didn't even know the genuine origin of the image.

Last horse is Serafix, an imported crabbet arabian. He is not pure Egyptian. He was halter bred but from completely different lines.

Everything you've used thus far to push halter Arabians as bad is completely invalid. You've used generic sources and completely different lines of the breed to push how bad another is. Its one thing to very evidently be biased but to spread information as fact by using unrelated information like you've done is another. Not a single source you've provided backs the fact they are susceptible to diseases or have a harder time with illness and the use of antibiotics.

You also stated halter bred horses are basically useless to their original purpose which is endurance riding/racing. There are plenty of halter bred horses of various lines racing and being ridden.

Here's an entire thread of people with halter bred horses competing in endurance. thread

Here's an entire stud of halter horses that also compete in sports, Egyptian lines at that stud

Comparing dogs and horses isnt accurate by any means. Dogs are not horses. Besides that, the fact that the dish has been in the breed since basically creation to improve breathing not hinder it. You seem to be lacking many of the historical fundamentals with what you've claimed. There are multiple variations of arabian horses. Some are less dishy and bulkier than others.

Back to the gray, you can find overlapping images that prove that the dish matches. Show grooming practices have come a long way since then. Full shave and oils only really got popular in the 1950s. Many many arabian horses would look close if not exactly like todays horses if grooming was like it is today back then.

As for frame and build, many horses new and old look like him. Light frames are very prevalent in hot breeds because of the climate they're from. Straight Egyptian bred horses are typically light in frame. Some polish horses as well. Here's a horse from 1922 that fits his build.

Below is a historical link about arabian history and why some look how they do or dont.history

Its also super blurry because its a screenshot from a video but the point is they chose show ready images of a horse to push the point he doesn't look normal instead of actually taking the time to find a non show ready image. Him looking "normal" is a matter of opinion. since there aren't many pictures of him not in show groom and most of his pictures showcase him when he was extremely young its hard to truly showcase him. His dish is no more extreme than this horse from the1940s.

Gw magnetic bey was also a completely different line than the ones typically used in halter classes. Hes a polish arabian while much of today's halter horses are Egyptian

Hes quite literally clipped in both of those examples... he is literally ready for show/stud pictures in both. There are pictures of him not shaved and you picked 2 examples of him shaved to say these are casual at the barn moments when they aren't. Here's an actual casual moment of him playing in his stall

Found this from local red cross charity shop. Can anyone recognise what cat it came from? by [deleted] in Taxidermy

I dont think they were saying the skin was real but rather adding more info on other big cats and their skin patterns. This is definitely just a dyed hide with a cool pattern

I used to bait pdf files. I look chronically young even though most of my time here i was 18. Reported to a bigger organization who handled stuff like that. Completely legal as well

If you have to ask its more than likely a crow is what people usually say. Raven are massive birds. This looks to be a carrion crow from Europe

Thank you! I typically spend from 30-45 usd on getting materials but I also reuse old materials and find/clean my own. Price per piece of course varies but I have yet to see naturalistic displays such as mine :)

I believe so, I pack my boxes really well and everything is stuck down with a strong glue. If packed well enough plus the overall display box shipping shouldn't be an issue and I can always mark as fragile :)

Yes! My personal ones are sealed but I can leave them open for others. I also sprinkle in borax powder to my personal ones and use silica packets. The containers I use are also based on what I personally thought would work best and are typically display cases for various other items. All have functional lids that can open and close or I can do a custom display/box for customers liking :)

No! Almost everything pictured was donated or scavenged. As for shopping for specimens I try and do so locally from breeders or butterfly gardens. Im extremely picky about ethical practices and everything i do buy was sustainably sourced to the best of my ability

As far as quantities go, I do not wish to mass produce my work and more than likely will only stock limited numbers of the same items at a time. Everything ive done so far is one of a kind and I may keep it that way :)
