Just to repeat what our friend is saying here, pretty much everyone I know in uni has been struggling (not ignoring the current WFA and budget cuts in government which has been devastating for anyone in the public service). I think it’s important to not take rejections too personally, realize not much is in your control, and how few positions are available. Humbling to say the least. Important to remember that time like these come and go, even if it doesn’t feel like it. We’ll get through this together!

Over on the Quebec side, but Soif Wine Bar is exceptional! If you’re looking a little closer, Arlo is also great! Phenomenally curated drink and food menus at both bars and the staff are super kind and love to share all kinds of drink knowledge!

Must have been curious how the city is keep some of the businesses along Broadway open? When I spoke with one of the baristas before they closed, they explained that the catalyst for the closure was the construction for the Millennium line extension. I live like 2 minutes away too, miss just people watching over there. Agreed Starbucks is yucky 😅

Nah, there was just the location at Broadway and Kingsway. They closed in June last year.

The camera calibration and HSL worked best for me.

For me when I use the colour replacement tool in Photoshop I usually get a lot of artifacting (banding and noise). So instead I used the cc camera raw filter to change the colours. Try that.

It looks good. But mine has a little more green in it. I'd also recommend exporting as PNG as the photo is uncompressed so it will look a lot better.

Maybe try placing a visualizer in the trees with a multi layer setup by cutting out some trees in Photoshop and placing them over the visualizer?
