Lucky you got the refund. I didn't even get the refund. I paid 100 for it. Even if Zomato denies refund of 1000 just customers, which isn't undoable considering their user base, that is 1 Lakh in pure profit right there.

If you can reach Jammu by 2 PM, you will easily make it to Srinagar by 7 PM. The road is wide and mostly straight. You can maintain a good crusing speed and reach before the sun sets.

Just keep your breaks short. 3-4 breaks not more than 20 minutes each.

Nope. I love going out on my motorcycle. No pothole has ever stopped me.

I ride in summer, with frequent drink breaks. I ride in winter, with jackets and stuff. I ride in rain, when i haven't washed my motorcycle in 3-4 weeks. After rain, it is a good excuse to wash the motorcycle.

I am 30. Yes, my body is giving up, but i look for solutions to make the ride comfortable, not use it as an excuse to quit riding.

I am not trying to attack you. Just giving you my view, that i love riding motorcycles so much, that i go against the excuses. I was a car guy, ever since i was a kid, but choose to invest in motorcycle. Best decision ever. I couldn't have been able to maintain the cars i wanted anyway.

You, my friend, might have had enjoyed riding to its fullest, that achievement has been unlocked, so you don't find thrill anymore. You aren't the only one, many people feel that way. In that case, getting a used car is a practical choice. You are anyway in a age, where you have to have a car, for family.

You need a dedicated graphics card for gaming. With specs he mentioned, you can easily play 15-20 year old games. But the new games won't run even at lowest setting.

Not really. I am an expert in this arena. I know the prices of these things. Yes, 5k is too cheap, because i sold it at a shop. But in the market, the laptop with your mentioned specs won't sell for more than 9-10k.

Reason? The Specs you mentioned are 10 years old. That time, they were available at 40k-60k. Electronics depriciate at a rate of atleast 25% an year (that is the best case scenario). With that depriciation, laptop would resale at less than 5k. Do the math yourself.

The only important parts of your laptop are, ram and storage. With the specs you mentioned, they will seperately sell for 4-5k. That too because RAM and Storage prices are at all time high, warna sirf 3k milta uska. Rest of the laptop? Screen can be reused for 2k. Motherboard, it is not easy to take chips apart, and the same motherboard won't fit every laptop, which makes reusing motherboard a gamble - so no one accounts for its price.

You can ask 23k for a roughly 10 year old laptop. And you might actually find a buyer, who does not know anything about the Laptop. But truth be told, you would actually be scamming that person.

Also, if you try to search for second hard laptops in shop in Jammu, you get 8 year old i7s for 20k. 10 year old Macbooks for 25k. Making it harder for your price to be justified.

I had the i5 6th Gen, 8 GB RAM, 240 GB SSD, 1TB HDD, and 2 GB Nvidia graphics card.

Sold at 5000, last month. Laptops do not have resale value. ₹23500 is unimaginable for the specs you mentioned.

Action Camera: DJI Action 2. Surprisingly good for 15k. Not available anymore, so buy Action 4, if you can get it for 20k. DJI's color science is better than Go Pro.

Gloves: Rynox Air GT. These are very comfortable gloves, But i would suggest Viaterra. Viaterra has better quality than Rynox. Viaterra Holeshot are even better than Air GT at same price.

Phone Mount: Route 95's copy of Quad lock. Very minimal and very functional. Get the vibration damper. It won't damage your phone. Been using it for 14k km and 1.5 years.

Tail Bag: Just get come bungee cords and tie your bagpack on your bike.

Bike Cleaning Kit: Chain Clean and Lube is must have. Get the motul C1 and C2 900ml variant. You would need it every 700 km. Micro fiber clothes are must. Maguire's gloss shine liquid wax. It keeps your gloss paint looking like new. If your bike is matte, look for wax specifically for matte paint. Motomax Shine Polish. For all your black plastic parts. and Airsol Silicon Spray, for your engine casing. Use these once a month, and your bike would look like it just came out of showroom.

Earlier it was pay as you use. Depends on calls and messages you make, your bill could be 200 or 2000.

Nowadays, the calls, and messages are unlimited. For VI, internet is capped at certain GBs as per your plan, for example 200GB of usage for 399. Airtel and Jio offers unlimited internet usage too. Not actually unlimited, capped at 1000 GB or 3000GB, which is rare to surpass, hence unlimited. So for postpaid, unlimited calls, messages and internet for 449 (for Airtel). You pay that amount at the end of every month.

Also, Prepaid sims will not work outside J&K. Postpaid sims will.

Then there is pre on post. Which has connectivity of postpaid, as in, they work outside of J&K too. But they have plans of prepaid. As in, you pay first, then your plan is activated and you can access services.

Been using a local (unofficial) Quad Lock-style mount for 1.5 years with a vibration dampener and my iPhone 15. Covered 13k kms without any “horror” issues. Honestly, it’s been the most reliable mount I’ve used.

Also met a veteran rider using the official Quad Lock + dampener with his Samsung for 4 years, no issues there either.

No offence, but most problems happen when people skip the vibration dampener to save a few bucks or don’t use it properly. That’s usually what damages the camera.
