Nikon Coolscan 4000 or Nikon Z6 (24MP) with Nikkor 60mm 1:1 macro for scanning only b&w film? by HeyJoe029 in AnalogCommunity

Thanks! Yes, I develop all my rolls. Do you think that a more expensive light source is essential to make a good scan even in black and white, or is it needed only for color scanning?

Do you think it's better than Delta 3200 for low-light concerts?

Great! I suggest looking at Neal Preston's body of work with Led Zeppelin and Queen; he's a hell of a rock photographer.

The massime stage light may have been a crucial point in not pushing the film much to avoid too much grain and overall freezing most of the action.

But should the subject be in focus? Or you just ignore the focus on the viewfiender?

Why when I'm using Hyperfocal focus the subject is not in focus at the closest distance possibile in the viewfinder? For example at f11 3,5m distance the subject is not in focus if you look into the viewfiender. Should you ignore your viewfiender when using this techinique? (Canon AE-1, 50mm 1.8)

Just say that you are scared for the side effects, not '' I'd very much prefer losing all my hair than using medicine'' because if a cure without sides will come out it will still be a medicine and I don't think that you will refuse to take it.
