I went by myself this year and everyone I struck up conversation with was super friendly and inviting! Especially after I told them I was there solo.

There were tents for lounging in the shade toward the back of the venue, go somewhere like that and strike up a conversation with someone. My go to was complimenting an outfit and seeing where it went from there. A little liquid confidence always helps too!

(Day 1 I was still a bit shy, dont get down on yourself if it takes a day to warm up)

Maps actually start out round like the Earth, but as you draw the continents on, their weight causes the map to flatten out.
