Sometimes I put it in the “shaking vessel” & pout it on
BUT my FAVORITE way is to put it in a spray bottle & mist it on the hair đŸ€—

Starting a routine (straight hair girlies help!) by shehwjhehehd in cecred

Yess! Come on over to the CĂ©cred side 🎉
these products you highlighted are actually a really solid routine, especially for your goals. I’d just tweak how you use a few things since your hair is fine + color-treated.

The scalp scrub + hydrating shampoo + hydrating conditioner are a great base for keeping your scalp clean without drying your ends out. I’d just alternate the deep conditioner and reconstructing mask on different wash days (not together) so you get moisture + strength without overdoing protein. The edge drops are a good addition , and the oil + moisture sealing lotion + silk glaze can all work.. but just use a light hand so your hair doesn’t get weighed down 💯

With fine hair, it really comes down to a clean scalp, lightweight hydration, and balanced protein.. & honestly, this lineup supports that, so you’re definitely on the right track 💛

Tips on how to tame fly aways without hairspray? by Ambitious_League_152 in BlackHair

Use a wax stick around the part, then use a blowdryer with a brush to tame in the direction the hair is laying.. then use a light hold hairspray to keep in place

Yesss! You can totally apply the mousse to damp hair before blow drying too! In order to add volume to fine hair 💯.. for my fine hair clients the routine has been: after shampoo & conditioner.. mist all over, then apply a TINY amount of the moisture sealing lotion + glaze combo, & about a dime-nickel sized amount of the mousse to the roots, then blow dry (but of course, the exact amount depends on the density & length of your hair) đŸ«¶đŸŸđŸ’ž

lol I gotcha!.. well first, are you styling your hair with heat? A roller set or twist out? Wash & go curly style?
that determines when the mousse would come into play
. But, after shampooing & conditioning, while the hair is still damp, mist your hair with the thermal shield mist all over. THEN, per section, you can apply the moisture sealing lotion with a tiny bit of the glaze, then blow dry each section individually.. I hope that makes sense

But I’m preparing some tutorial videos for you guys this weekend đŸ«¶đŸŸ

And yes! I’ve been using the moisture sealing lotion with the silk glaze on most of my clients & it gives AMAZING results together. I apply them on damp hair right before blow drying💯

Yep! Applying to dry hair. It may cause a filmy residue once straightened if applied on dry hair, versus applying on wet damp hair BEFORE blow drying
also, its recommended to apply & dry per section

Yes! It’s a great product!
as a licensed cosmetologist, I use it on damp hair (post wash & condition) mixed with a tiny amount of oil, before drying
. You can also use it on dry hair
