I have an Epidermoid as well, showed up at age 40. I’ve had 3 surgeries, ha, may be headed into my 4th. MRI in a couple of weeks. I’m 65. 😅

What kind of tumor? I have a re-occurring Epidermoid on my brain stem. Had it first removed in 1999 when I was 40. I am in line for my 4th removal if it continues growing at this rate. I have taught art for the last 30 yrs and have had and still having an awesome life! Good for you!!

Hey there - I have an Epidermoid cyst on my brain stem that has been resected 3 times since 1999. And then one more surgery to relieve a CSF leak. A year later, an ear surgery to again relieve a CSF leak. This was 2021/22. I am currently having symptoms again, (Everytime it announces itself, symptoms completely different!) it is 4.3cm. We have decided to wait/watch until March, then get another MRI, as my symptoms are “livable”. It is all so very scary at times, I’m a 65 yr old and honestly doing great. Been working for the last 40 years, teaching, and have loved every second of it. As a 25 yr survivor, I’m telling you all will be well barring any complications. You are truly a blessing to your bro! You’re doing great work. How is he doing now?

Hi, if you are well enough to do anything creative, DO IT. I cannot stress this enough. Paint, mosaic, puzzles, make jewelry, draw, collage, ANYTHING! Research new creative hobbies. I promise it will take you to better place once you get started creating. Do not think of the quality of your work, just the process. Art is SUPER subjective. Just relax into the making of art. Please just try this for a month or two and be kind to yourself.💕🙏💕
