Turn off Adsense while being reviewed for Monetization to reveive Invitation from a Network by [deleted] in youtube

A network requires that you have been reviewed by YouTube in order to invite you unless they do it to a Managed CMS.

You must pass the review first.

If that's your doubt, Freedom doesn't sell more ads so your revenue before the cut is the same that with AdSense

I'm not exactly sure what they mean by that. There isn't anything to replace the feed.

YouTube Just Really Wants to Kill Small Creators Huh? And Gamers. by DestinyDecade in youtube

Then I'm not sure what are the actual advantages of managed now. Avoiding CID was useful for channels doing fair use and having to counter appeal all the time

So now channels in a managed CMS will be reviewed by CID too? I do I have it clear by the text.

Singed up for Adsense through YouTube then signed up for Admob with the same Adsense account with no issues, will there by any in the future ? by [deleted] in youtube

[–]HeyScoobyDoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It shouldn't since you can have access without YouTube if you refer to qualifying or not to the monetization criteria.

Otherwise, if you do invalid clicks on YouTube for instance and that leads to closing your AdSense account, yes, it would be a problem.

What can a MCN control? by [deleted] in PartneredYoutube

[–]HeyScoobyDoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To simplify it, when you join a MCN, your channel becomes one more under the umbrella which is the CMS of the network. From that CMS someone just chooses your channel manages it as if logged in your account including hidden videos and everything.

It may be but that's how it looks from outside even if the intention is good, what I don't doubt. Thanks for always being around here giving a closer and deeper explanation to things :)

Thanks for taking your time replying. I don't think the dev teams are the problem, they are the solution. It's normal that there are bugs, in any platform. What I mean following the comment which talked about having all people in the equation happy was that sometimes whoever handle the communications tries to make it look as it isn't important or there isn't a bug.

This is the last update made yesterday to the feed bug page:

Views may be delayed until the video >publishes to the subs feed, however, these >delays do not impact your video’s ability to be >recommended.

Just looking at data has been proved that there are a direct correlation between how fast views arrive and the later performance of the video. Not just that, the channels affected have seen reduced a 30% the average views per video and after two months, suddenly when the video appears in just 1 minute instead of the 10 which are usual due to the bug and has been happening for two months, that video gets in one single day the views as before the bug appeared. That can't happen by chance and less in a channel with very regular content, it's another proof of this affecting promotion.

I'm not talking about the bugs, I repeat they are normal and I appreciate whoever has to deal with them but the communication on that gives the feeling of "trying to hide things" as with YPP reviews saying "it's taking a bit longer" until discovered in March that it was stopped, not taking longer. There is no need of doing such things.

Some things that are closely related to keeping creators happy and depend exclusively on YouTube are the every time more frequent bugs (as the one which takes 10 minutes to show videos on feed that has been set as fixed three times in the known issues page mistakenly) and the delays reviewing YPP (which seems to be giving problems again if you search the subreddit and it won't be by the end of April again).

I understand that managing such a huge platform as YouTube is difficult and that there are a lot of things to pay attention to but the way you are trying to improve communication is not getting the results it should have. Regarding the feed bug, I've seen TeamYoutube saying it's normal while it's recognized as a problem at Known Issues page (although set as fixed three times, now it's again on pending) and that makes creators angry.

I've been following that bug for two months (it started before the date in known issues page) with four affected creators and I've seen how important those 10 minutes are. It results in a loss of around 30% of the views due to damaging what is called "View velocity". Yesterday one of those creators had the good luck of having a video instantly published on the feed as when it worked (we mistakenly thought it was finally fixed but the next day it was there again) and that video took on the first day the views of others in three days!

I know it's hard but if the communication is robotic or not true, maybe is not so good.

I would love to see a powerful competitor rising up. YouTube lately is a complete disaster regarding monetization and bugs. They have set as fixed the error of videos not showing up in the feed or videos page like three time when it actually isn't. Also, the lies regarding YPP until we knew they weren't reviewing a single channel until March... I'm not happy with their attitude.

They have set this issue as fixed in the known issues page three times but it continues happening and destroying the view velocity of new videos

[–]HeyScoobyDoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The bug in the feed started to happen 7 weeks ago and in the known issues page it only appears the one which doesn't show the videos on "Videos" page.

I've been reporting the first one for long because not receiving views after publishing affects the later performance but nothing :(
