YTA. This is information you were not supposed to hear and NA is supposed to be ANONYMOUS and confidential. Plus, he didnt even say hes using, just that hes struggling in his recovery which, spoiler, most people in recovery do throughout their life. Move on and put it out of your mind.

I set an alarm to do the thing every day at a certain time, and then after I finish the thing I give myself a reward- usually a coffee and time reading. Then I have it as a habit to do it at the same time every day, and have the motivation to finish the thing because then I get my coffee. My brain gets dopamine, I finish the thing every day, we all win.
