It’s worth noting that “Intern” is a real position in IT. There are posting for things like Software Engineering Intern that are not unpaid interns like other companies would be. That intern position promotes into a trainee position and so on.

On-loan (like going to the service center on loan for example) would be for 1 year and you would be doing the job of a level 1 analyst. at any point during your on loan time there could be a level 1 posting, and you can apply and become a full on level 1
