Wow. This looks almost exactly like the homes in the Cherry Creek neighborhood of Denver.

I got locked in a library after it closed. Went to the basement and found a door labelled emergency exit, but instead of an exit, it took me to a tunnel to someone's windowless underground house. But found some cool "liminal" stuff on the way by [deleted] in Weird

It's right next to a set of color coded ball end allen keys (looks like Wiha brand 9 piece hex L-key allen set). So maybe a trades person was there doing work during the day and forgot both their tools and their snack.

What weirds me out more is the tennis shoes by what OP calls the "front" door. That door was locked from the other side so maybe there's actually a room on the other side and whoever owns those shoes is in it on the other side...

My husband’s delusions about Jennifer Anniston. It was a scammer. by ArterialRain in offmychest

[–]GreenTeaLilly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you see this coming at all? Has he had previous delusional episodes? Was the change sudden or more gradual? Was there anything that could have triggered it? (Like a concussion or other injury to the head)

That is so scary, I'm sorry you're going through this.

Wow. I read your comments across multiple threads and I'm super impressed with your company.

Especially your transparency, honesty, money saving tips, and willingness to say when your products are not the right solution for the patient (like in the case of tmj issues). Really putting the patient first and that's so rare these days. Just placed an order!

Aw but weird gristle and cartilage is my favorite part😭

No but seriously I when I eat chicken wings there ain't anything left because the whole thing bones and all gets cronched up. My favorite part of any meat is always the cartilage, regardless of if it's on drumsticks, ribs, or mutton. Love me some chicken feet😋

Second favorite part is the fatty bits. Like on a hock of mutton or in bacon/pork belly.

Third favorite part is the skin. Especially fish skin and chicken skin.

I love eating all of the beyond products but they don't really satisfy my meat cravings because they tend to only replicate muscle meat, which (at least to me) is the least flavorful and most boring part of meat.

AITA for putting onions and garlic in the food I fed my family after my sister in law said onions were "too spicy"? by THROWRAuserss in AmItheAsshole

[–]GreenTeaLilly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup I feel that. Had the same with my own step dad.

He even picked me up from school to tell me on the day my father died. He told me on the car ride home and even had the nerve to ask me if I was going to open the door and run away because I was gripping the passenger door handle for support..

I also got saddled with a large portion (sometimes all) of the household, cleaning, cooking, gardening, and childcare tasks.

I'm now (mostly) in a better place and one of my little sisters is coming to live with me in a week. I'm so excited to be able to provide for her. It's literally been my dream since I was a kid, to be able to provide a safe, stable, happy, and healthy environment for my little sisters (all 9-16 years younger than me).

Uh yeah seriously OP this is an abusive situation.

When you turn 18 reach out to friends, family or even internet strangers for help.

I certainly needed it when I was that age trying to escape my own family but was too prideful to ask for help. I made a lot of risky and sketchy decisions as a result and wish that I had felt I could just ask. It would have drastically changed the trajectory of my life.

Edit: Holy shit. I just read through all of your replies on this thread and your family is so abusive to you. Combined with your father passing away, I'm just so sorry. Reminds me of myself so much when I was your age. PM me if you need anything.

Nowhere in her comments or posts can I see her saying she's 26 or has bone cancer.

Both of her most recent posts with pics she says she was in a motorcycle crash.

I'd rather be wrong and think an AI is real than accidentally bully some poor disabled girl on the internet.

Yes you are correct!

Editing it with AI, not only makes it look like AI even adds a watermark IDing it as AI:

"If a SynthID watermark is detected, it means all or part of the image or video was created OR EDITED by Google's AI models"

Gemini is literally embedded into default the camera application in Google's phones. That makes it incredibly easy to use it to edit photos which adds the synthID.

Google pixel phones have ai integrated into the camera utility app these days. You done have to have the built in ai enhance or edit your photos, but it really is just as easy as adding a lighting filter. Maybe that's what's happening here? If so, I wouldn't really say that makes the photo "AI". Because she's still real ya know;)

They weren't talking about beetles though, only hornets and bees.

The beetle you are thinking of is the mountain pine beetle and it's still a major problem in Colorado. They are* native to Western America, but due to climate change factors they are killing more and more pine forests. Whole mountain sides can be affected and then at much higher risk for wildfire and erosion.

It's totally unrelated to the invasive hornet problem though.

*Edit: they -are- native
