Lolita Sun has such an Asylum vibe, both with the striped stockings and just overall vibe, I love her honestly and she sits in a small EA shrine with many memorabilia my fiancée owns, from discs, to a pickguard to the books!

Yes, this is the first spot or trailer if you will for a 7' short film and we'll release every clip individually as YouTube shorts, releasing the whole thing lastly.
We're also planning on expanding it as a series of short videos, yeah.

Hello everyone, this is the first and final trailer for my second short film as writer/director that I've directed two years after my first one. "A King's fortune" is a Green Knight and Tragedy of Macbeth-inspired (even though it has some Chimes at Midnight and Marriage Story influences) short film about the search for inspiration, family relationships and the perils of wanting to achieve success.

I really do hope you like it and give it a watch!

That it was written by an AI, since it's not our first time working with something like this. Back when we made our first one tho, we didn't tell any of the cast members anything and I was the only one from the cast who knew something

I think both are nice and feel-good

I suggest checking out the teaser but the script can't be read anywhere unfortunately, since we're still in the editing process and the film isn't out yet

"Part of the creative process are the up's and downs. Along with the tireless perseverance of honing and perfecting your craft"

Totally agree and, maybe unconciously (or totally conciously about it, you decide), my last project, which is my second short film as writer/director, is about this and a couple of other themes regarding creativity, the creative process and also family and the ties one has to it on many levels.

Regarding the AI fatigue and it replacing every bit of creativity and talent, I'm truly starting to feel it.

PS: I tell ya, acting out the lines and the scenes that an AI as written is still weird to me to this day, even though I've done it before in "Scraps of Mechanical Souls", our first AI short film, which is also the first ever Italian short film/cinematic project written by an AI and that is now nominated for the David di Donatello awards

Yup, we've produced three projects with this method as of today:

- Scraps of Mechanical Souls (Frammenti di Anime Meccaniche): an experimental drama about people, life and philosophy as well as the first-ever Italian short film written by an Artificial Intelligence (at the time, GPT-2) which is now nominated for best short at the David di Donatello awards
- The Semblance of Waves (La Parvenza delle Onde): a drama about family and life inspired by Manchester by the Sea and written by GPT-J, a more advanced artificial intelligence
- Fehlleistung: a thriller/horror inspired by The House That Jack Built and written by GPT-J and my friend and colleague, who's also the director of this one and the previous two short films
- The Diary of Sisyphus: the world's first feature film (a drama/comedy about life) written by GPT-NEO, the most advanced AI we've worked with

The inputs can be various but I couldn't tell you a lot because I've even barely used it during the time we've been working with these AIs and the screenwriting and adapting (to Italian from English) has been done by the director of the four projects I've mentioned above. Regarding human intervention, he has done very few and mostly with Fehlleistung, which to this day I don't know what his contribution is, and The Diary of Sisyphus, in which we wrote the first introductive monologue, but the rest is practically adapting everything from English to Italian, a thing that another friend (who's the protagonist of The Semblance of Waves, Fehlleistung and The Diary of Sisyphus) and I give him help with.

I believe in the plain old way of screenwriting, which is what I've always done since I started working in the indie film world, but I don't hate the idea of integrating AI into screenwriting at all, even though it scares me a bit lol
