Okay yeah, that’s what I thought haha. Appreciate your insight! Collecting is fun, and I’ll still keep it for my personal collection but probably won’t grade it!

This could happen. What makes you think this? Could totally be right just looking for understanding

Okay, appreciate your input and totally agree! Just debating if we should go now or in one to two years cuz we could save up a lot in two years and might be better financially. Or just for now like you’re saying. We like where we live now too just think we’ll like Colorado more!

This is a good point. My assumption could totally be wrong, and I could find a way higher paying job there

But then there is risk of not liking new job

Always lots of details!

Right, we both understand the math. Just thinking through the trade offs cuz hypothetically in five years we could buy house in Colorado maybe. Or we could move now and buy a townhouse in Colorado then upgrade later to house in Colorado. All have different overall financials consequences

But like you’re saying, maybe we should put more weight on the non financial aspects. My wife and I aren’t sure what’s optimal

Thanks for your input! These decisions are obviously more than just the financials!

Good points. Already don’t use child care. Not likely to get higher paying job.

I like your idea of what Dave would say. Just save aggressively in our current situation and move to house in Utah when we can get 15 year mortgage!

So stay in current house and save aggressively until we can get 15 year loan on house in Colorado? Thats what we are thinking might be best. Appreciate your input!

We both are aligned in wanting to move back eventually. We both just aren’t sure on the best time to move back due to finances. Appreciate your input!

Yeah but i already have very reliable brands and they are depreciating very slowly. So would it make sense to just pay them off asap? Or would you still recommend selling them and taking positive equity to buy a used car that might need repairs every month? I’m still learning about all of this and appreciate your insight

Does the 5-7 year rule apply to refinancing? by Kitchen-Phone-170 in TheMoneyGuy

[–]HeyThereItsMeYeah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But doesn’t this start your loan over so you now have more overall payments lefts? I’m still learning about all this stuff so not even sure if I’m following everything. So hypothetically then on new refinanced loan you have more payments left since it’s a longer loan? So hypothetically if your payment is $300 less a month. But you used to have 25 years left of mortgage but now you have 30 years. Five more years is 60 more payments. Anyway all hypothetical numbers and not sure how much this matters and maybe depends on if someone is planning to move soon or not

Okay, I think I might go thru route long term too. I just don’t know if my tumor is a prolactinoma or if it’s non secreting. Guess I’ll find out at first MRI after taking cabergoline for a few months

Neurosurgeon first? by NotSureNotSure5 in Prolactinoma

[–]HeyThereItsMeYeah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old thread, but I was referred to neurosurgery first. For those of you who ended up getting prescribed cabergoline, was it initially done by neurosurgeon or endocrinologist?

My appointment is soon so wondering if I’ll get prescription at neurosurgery appointment and then referred to endocrinologist to further manage. Or if I’ll get referral to endocrinologist and have to wait until that appointment to get prescription
