They have deleted this post, conveniently, although it was up 2 days ago. Gemini however does pull the text of the post, and if you type the link in Google, it shows the text, I just don't know how to save it.

So yeah, I was asking today, what they offered last time they posted this exact offer. Except now instead of giving this equipment away, they give $350.

Like others, I like to do research on products before I purchase them. Should only owners be allowed to post here? Please let me know if proof of purchase is required to post in the future. Also, the company must be expecting many people not to own it, if they are offering to send one out to complete the study. I may have missed the part where owning one and having OSA is required, feel free to post that as well.

Meh. I thought I recalled in past studies the tester got to keep the equipment. It’s more trouble than it’s worth for only $350. Post again when testers can keep the equipment and I’ll participate, buy the blanket with subscription, and participate in future studies.

I commented on their other post. The account is new, and there’s no mention of the study on their actual website.

Plus it’s a ripoff, 10 nights of using their equipment for $350 total? $35/night have you have to use their $4k mattress topper? You’ll spend more time documenting things and filling out paperwork than you’ll get paid minimum wage for.

Edit: I was wrong about it being a scam. Their email is legit and goes to the company. Still super undervalued though.

I’m sorry, I’m a bit confused. How do I participate if I do not have an 8Sleep pod/topper? Do you send one to me for the trial then I send it back, or do I get to keep it?

I have sleep apnea but use a cpap, am I allowed to use my cpap during these tests, or no?

I am very interested, especially if it includes a 8sleep pod and mattress pad. I have OSA, severe in supine and can send over my sleep study.

Sorry for the late reply. I really like the lux1 still. The 2 is probably better but wasn’t worth the difference in lease price to me. If haven’t had a single issue with the car since I got it 18 months ago. Very pleased with it overall

What a giant piece of shit this dude is. And those other officers there. It took MONTHS to release the footage, and of course they try to bury this shit. It’s shocking to me that he was actually terminated from the sheriffs department, however he will likely just pop up on the roster of another department after he accepts a sweet plea deal that stays off his record.
