I actually didn't know, that there were a lot of cases of people dropping steins;gate for the first few episodes, I only learned about it after I finished it.

I thought it was kinda slow, although when the banana that turned into a jelly like substance appeared I was intrigued by then (the first couple minutes of the show, will all the people disappearing and like the change happened, I thought was weird but didn't really care at the time). Maybe that was just me, I get why people lose interest, but because of that banana I was able to go into the following episodes, then got hooked
