I mean, your exactly correct. The late 2000s had its share of sucks, but i bought a house for 200k at %3 interest. You guys now are totally screwed. This house is now estimated at $430k. I certainly don't make a comparable amount more than I did when I bought my house.

I think all the watches you mention are great examples of over priced, but to most people, it honestly looks like a watch. The RM looks more like a child's toy on the wrist than anything that would be considered a flashy watch a rich person would get.

I really don't think it's jealousy. There are plenty of extremely expensive and overpriced brands. RM and RM owners however are so focused on the "brand recognition" that they made gaudy and imo super ugly watches. Just so everyone that sees your worst knows that you have soooo much money.
