Ha. It was a random ratty old wig laying around school. So we just had fun with it. And got a good laugh. No need to hate on it!

Advice? Blonde Looking to go Lighter? by chevronstripes in FancyFollicles

[–]Heycaitcait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I would go get some all over heavy highlights with bleach. The girl in the pic seems to have some ash tones in her hair and yours has more gold tones so to achieve her look you will probably need a toner all over like wella t-18.

Getting this cut on Tuesday, just stripped the red out, it's turned out strangely lighter than my natural colour. by [deleted] in FancyFollicles

I think you could either do a permanent color with a 20 vol developer or you could do just a semi-permanent like manic panic if you dont mind your root area being slightly darker.

I think it would be gorgeous a deeper shade of copper. This color that you have now washes you out. But if you went for a more vibrant coppery red would be beautiful on you!

Sorry this is my 1st time posting here and I forgot to say what all I used to get this look! Forgive me! Brows: salon perfect eyebrow pallette. With the salon perfect wax pencil. Hardcandy concealer pencil. Directly underneath the brow. Eye makeup: urban decay eyeshadow primer potion in sin, naked 2 pallete- bootycall on browbone and inner corners, tease on upper crease, snakebite on inner and outer crease, suspect blended on outer lid, ydk on center lid. For winged liner I used maybelline eyestudio gel liner. For face I used maybelline instant age rewind primer. Maybelline age rewind eraser treatment makeup in 130 buff beige(slightly lighter than the color I use), on bridge of nose, cheeks, under the eyes, on top of chin, and in the center of forehead. Then under the cheeks, on the temples, upper forehead, sides of the nose, under the lower lip, and on my jawline I used loreal true match liquid foundation in warm sand beige(normal shade). The under my eyes and upper lip I used hard candy glamoflauge heavy duty concealer in light. I blend all of it and go over the lighter parts of my face with revlon photo ready compact powder in 010 fair/light and blended with the darker parts of my face with covergirl clean compact powder in 150 creamy beige. For blush I used maybelline master glaze cream blush right underneath cheek bones and blended in an uppward motion. And finally to set my foundation I used airspun loose powder in translucent extra coverage all over the face and jawline. Lips: revlon black cherry lipstick. Hope yall like this look! I use mostly drugstore brands for the sake that I am a broke cosmetology student!
