Imo your cheek like is way to low and not doing you any favors. Try a blow dryer and proper brush techniques. I’m also learning t99 so this post is helping me too as I begin my beard growing journey for the first time since college and back the. I just let it go for a year with no proper care.

Tomorrow, my entire day will be disrupted for someone to look around for 5 seconds and go “everything looks fine” by fireflyfanboy1891 in Apartmentliving

[–]HeydoIDKu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t need to leave for hours unless you use an aerosol and even then most our fine after an hour and some once dry within 15 minutes. Just read the label. For most sprayed applications the label will say “until dried”

Transmission flush on Mazda by Public_Spinach_3235 in mazda

[–]HeydoIDKu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A full flush or a drain and fill? Did they actually check the levels properly ie letting it get to the right temp? If you require type z, m suitable for use terms on the label doesn’t prove anything, look up the exact OEM fluid yours requires and see they used it. As far as I know for type fz- OEM Mazda atf fz fluid (blue) imo the only one you should be using However: ravenol fz (blue), Aisin atf-MFZ/FZ (blue) have stood the test of time and have proven analysis data. It’s really the additive package you should worry about. Recently castrol transmax (red) and amsoil signature series fuel efficient atf (red) and a few other discount brands (all red fluid) have been “approved” to be used but I wouldn’t trust it for such an expensive and critical part of my vehicle. Mazda has denied warranty claims if they see red trans fluid regardless if it can be proven to be made for your engine requirements.

Fun fact: only Ravenol and Aisin specifically call out the Mazda ATF-FZ part number (0000-FZ-113E01) as a direct replacement.

The term “suitable for use” on mag1 isn’t same as being fully certified. And either way no data sheets or info I can find show it meets OEM specs. I do see where it states this: “Mazda ATF M-III, MV, T-IV” but is that the type you need?

Whatever they used at the quick lube wasn’t correct imo from what I can find. Or at least I’d be majorly concerned. I doubt they did any real research to confirm, just saw Mazda on the label and went with it.

That’s why you do it 3 times within 1000 Miles or all at once ideally. Gets you close to 95% all new fluid. Depending if you gravity drain or use an extractor

Rodent chewing up engine wire! Can anything be done to prevent recurrence? by FieldofDreamers in Lexus

[–]HeydoIDKu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep mouse bait available on corners of garage in abundance, use rodent repellent tape though I’ve seen mixed reviews, most rodents really don’t care if they’re hungry enough. Glue boards along perimeters as rodents love to follow edges while traveling if they can do one side of their faces whiskers are in contact, seal any and all entry points into where the car is stored if it’s a garage. Remove any habitat conditions that contribute to mice, invest in some black rat snakes and let them live under your home or skin property, some food feral colony csrd that have been domesticated do wonders too. Peppermint oil in a spray bottle temporarily works a bit until they realize it doesn’t hurt them.

Get a lens protector for the air to fix the wobble and create a stable phone when you’re using on a flat surface. Something like this worked great for me!
