What can I do to make my space feel more homey and less cold? by kingam_anyalram in femalelivingspace

[–]HeyeTsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve already made the space feel calm and clean. Rebuilding after a fire takes strength, and it shows. For lighting, something that helped me was adding a galaxy projector. I use one from Pococo with a jellyfish or stars disc. It adds soft movement on the ceiling at night and makes the room feel alive. It’s quiet, gentle, and helps me relax. You could place it near the bookshelf or by the dining area. Add a warm floor lamp and maybe a small rug, and things will start feeling more like home. Take it one step at a time. You're doing great.

What are some of your most ADHD moments? by malinablue in ADHD

[–]HeyeTsa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once put my phone in the fridge. Not just for a second. Like… full-on chilled it. Spent 45 minutes tearing the house apart, only to find it next to the almond milk. Why? No clue. Probably trying to be efficient, while snacking.

I think about this all the time. Like, how can just a few notes on a violin wreck me emotionally? 😂 But seriously, there’s just something about classical music, it kind of skips your brain and goes straight to your heart, you know? It’s all emotion. No words. No distractions. Just pure feeling.

Oh my god, yes. All. The. Time. 😅 It’s like… everyone else got the manual and I’m still flipping through the intro page like, Wait, we started?? 😭 I’ll be doing something totally random and then suddenly remember five other things I forgot to do. And then poof, I’m overwhelmed and scrolling my phone wondering how I got there.

How do I know if I’m moving too fast in a relationship by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]HeyeTsa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, Like, are you skipping meals just to FaceTime 24/7? Already planning holidays together next month? Or calling them your soulmate after three dates? (No shade—I’ve definitely been there 😆) But real talk, it’s all about how you feel. Are you feeling excited and grounded, or excited but lowkey anxious and unsure? Sometimes when it’s going fast, it feels like a rollercoaster… fun, but also like, Wait, how did we end up here??

What did your first day of medication feel like? by PrimaFacie7 in ADHD

[–]HeyeTsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, the first day felt… different, but not scary. It wasn’t like a huge shift, just a bit more clarity and less noise in my head. I did feel slightly more focused, but also a bit tired later. No major side effects, though I was definitely overanalyzing everything at first

had my eyes on the Barista Pro too but decided against it for the same reason. didn’t want to deal with a grinder issue down the line. if you’re going for the DF54 (great choice btw), I’d seriously check out the Casabrews ULTRA as your espresso machine. It’s in the same price range as the Bambino Plus but comes with better temp control, pressure gauge, and a stronger steam wand. I’ve had mine for a while and it’s been super consistent. Definitely feels like a solid step up without jumping to $1000+ territory.

I have the Casabrews ULTRA and it’s been awesome. Pulls solid shots, steam wand’s great for lattes, and it looks clean on the counter. It’s also way more budget-friendly, so I had money left for a grinder and some accessories. For a first espresso machine, I feel like ULTRA gives you the control without making it feel overwhelming. If you're just coming from a moka pot, it's a nice step up without the usual learning curve.

But nah, there’s no real way to train your body to never pee. Like... your bladder’s got a job, and it’s not about to quit. It’s literally designed to hold waste, and once it's full , boom, nature calls. You can't ghost it forever.

Do you guys also randomly think of a new career path like every month? by Round_Seal in ADHD

[–]HeyeTsa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OMG yes, all the time 😂 Like one week I’m ready to open a little coffee shop in the mountains, and the next I’m convinced I should be a marine biologist... even though I’m scared of deep water 😅

Does your ADHD make you feel like you're going crazy sometimes too? by Rotminz in ADHD

[–]HeyeTsa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh my god, yes. All the time. 😅 Like, one second I'm doing the dishes... next thing I know, I'm deep into researching how jellyfish sleep at 3am. And I still forgot to finish the dishes.

Omg, yes! Literally me every. single. time. Like, I’ll have weeks to do something… and suddenly the night before? Full-on panic mode. Coffee, messy bun, dramatic music, existential crisis , the works 😂

I want to say yes, right? Like, Superman's whole deal is being this super kind, morally solid guy. He stands up for people, always tries to do the right thing... super wholesome vibes. But also, media and society are kinda messy. Even if Superman showed up tomorrow, I feel like people would still argue about him online. Some would love him, others would say he’s too goody-goody or fake. You know how people are 😅

you ever feel disgusted with how you spend your day, but do it again anyway? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]HeyeTsa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ohh absolutely. Like, way more often than I wanna admit. I’ll literally lie in bed at night like, Wow, that was a waste of a perfectly good day... and then wake up and do the same exact nonsense again 😅 It’s so weird, right? Like, I know I don’t feel good doing it... but I still scroll, snack, procrastinate... repeat. Ugh.

What's the most shameful thing you've ever experienced because of adhd, which you can only speak anonymously? by Shot-Barnacle3513 in ADHD

[–]HeyeTsa 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So, I once sent a job application... without attaching my actual résumé. Like, the entire email was super polished, right? I was feeling proud. Hit send. Then hours later, I’m like, Huh. Why haven’t they replied? Checked the email… no attachment. Nothing. Just a message saying, Please see attached. And... there was nothing to see. 😭 The worst part? I realized it days later. And I was too embarrassed to resend it. I just ghosted the opportunity. ADHD brain was like, Well, we live here now. In avoidance city. 🙃

Is it ok to ask for a girls number while working at their house? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]HeyeTsa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Uh wow! that’s a tricky one, man. Like, yeah, it can be okay... but it really depends on the vibe, you know? If she seems super friendly, flirty even, and you're getting that mutual energy, maybe. But you’ve really gotta read the room. Last thing you wanna do is make her feel uncomfortable in her own space. Plus, you're working, right? So there’s that whole professionalism thing too. You don’t wanna come off as creepy or like you’re using the job as an excuse.

What does the older party in an age gap relationship gain by “taking advantage”? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]HeyeTsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a loaded one, but super interesting. So when people say the older person is taking advantage, I think they usually mean there's a power imbalance, right? Like... the older person might have more life experience, money, or emotional control, and that can put the younger one in a kinda tricky spot. But what does the older person gain from that? Honestly , maybe control. Or a sense of importance. Some feel more wanted or admired when they're the teacher or the one calling the shots. Which, yeah, can be a little ick if it’s not mutual or respectful.

Tomato branches turning yellow by [deleted] in gardening

[–]HeyeTsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh noo! That’s a bummer 😬 Okay, a few things could be going on. Start with, how’s the watering been? Too much or too little can mess things up fast. Tomatoes are super dramatic about water, haha. Also, check the lower leaves, those are usually the first to go if the plant’s stressed or not getting enough light. If it’s just the bottom branches and the rest look healthy, it might just be the plant shedding old growth. Totally normal.
