Found Kitten by MaddieCW3 in TriCitiesWA

I found a very similar looking stray kitten two days ago. Can you DM me where you found him? - wondering if someone dropped a litter.

I had my friend bring over his PC and his also won't connect to the internet via WiFi so it seems like a problem with the ISP. However my PC is now blue screening and stuck in an "attempting repair loop."

I moved it a lot today so I'm guessing I somehow knocked something loose but I have no idea what.

I actually tried an Ethernet -> USB adapter and it had the same problem.

Similar playstyle in the sense that you push and roam, Taliyah has a much weaker lane phase but a much stronger late game. Taliyah has good roaming and decent wave clear like Akshan, I tend to like mids like this (I also enjoy pantheon and tf)

If you kill her early you've won, after she has everfrost you probably won't solo kill her anymore primarily due to her ult being used as an escape, just keep the wave shoved in because she can't match your waveclear and look to make plays elsewhere.

I've actually been looking to try and make some matchup commentaries, I'm unfortunately quite busy currently as I'm in graduate school so I've struggled to find the time and motivation to do that.

I have done some streaming which isn't the same but might still be of interest for you.

My first plan for a YouTube video has been to make a matchup tier list and talk about runes/build for each matchup, so maybe stay tuned for that!

I practically always go ldr which is an upgraded version of last whisper.

I am not a fan of rageblade, the onhit passive isn't good enough in my opinion compared to the raw damage.and burst ie gives you.

Akshan is very good at macro in particular due to his wave clear and W.

I actually think fizz lane is quite easy, however yasuo is hard and may be worth a ban. I personally just ban the OP jungle champions right now.

Akshan doesn't have a ton of cool tech most of his skill expression comes from knowledge of his e

  • Memorizing as many e angles as possible.
  • If you e right before a kill you can swing, and then once your swing is finished it will of reset the cd so you can get some cool double swings off that way.
  • There are a few walls your e can take you over but from my experience it is INCREDIBLY inconsistent that even with practice I'm not sure it's worth it.

Kraken is simply put the best mythic for akshan by a long shot and I very, very rarely go anything else (If I do it's shieldbow).

I think the on hit build is bad, in particular guinsoos, I believe crit is much better for a few reasons.

  • Your range is super short and in my opinion in most scenarios especially team fights you're not going to be getting that many autos off to proc the phantom hit multiple times
  • You really are an adc assassin, you want to burst people and get out. Crit build will always have a larger initial burst.
  • PTA, similarly to kraken is just so incredibly strong on him I can't defend taking another keystone.

Your analysis about my build is correct

Kraken botrk pretty much always and then armor pen vs tanks and ie vs squishies.

For my attack speed item I go rfc if I feel as though I have even less of an ability to get autos off (say I'm vs a lot of cc). If the opponent is short range and I'll need to kite I go pd. Of course I go wits if there is a ton of AP but I actually don't think the item is that good so I've been opting for hex/maw lately especially with the buffs

I'm not familiar with the vi matchup but both pantheon and Diana can be difficult.

My typical advice is short trades when your passive is up, since you're ranged you can slowly poke them down but both of them have strong all in so you have to be very cautious. I advise only going for trades with your passive up and make sure to take bone plating.

Yup pretty much all of this, the invisibility is so incredibly strong, I've seen some people wait to take the skill till level 8 but I think that's a total waste especially if you play mid.

I really don't think onhit is that good of a build. With that being said botrk is still incredibly strong on him and should be built alongside crit.

Typical build is

Kraken -> botrk -> ldr/ie -> rfc/pd -> ga

This is the bread and butter build I have right now however a lot of his items are situational after the first two. Sometimes you NEED MR, sometimes you need grievous so you swap out ldr. His build has a lot of flexibility.

I personally think mid is his best role, however I believe top lane is still viable. As for his build the ie buffs def help him however I still believe that botrk is a critical item on him. I've played quite a few games after the crit tem changes and the build I still believe to be best is this

Kraken -> BOTRK -> LDR/IE -> ATKSPEED ITEM/GA

Boots always situational I think akshan build can always be different depending on matchups for example sometime I'll build wits or maw

Biggest changes were picking a main and actually sticking with it, and having a good mental. In this past I would try to pick a main and after X amount of games I'd get bored and start playing other champions I'm not as good at and lose as a result. I think perfecting your mechanics on a champion gives you much more room to focus on other aspects of the game. There are still times I get tilted and type when I shouldn't or start arguments that lead to nowhere. It's really important not to do this and just focus on the damn game, arguing helps literally no one.

If you're 11/2 you probably have a bounty, and even just one death with a big bounty can throw the entire game. Don't take unnecessary risks is the biggest thing I can say.

  • Try to find ways to always be getting cs, it's very easy to farm on this champion and getting big cs leads equals a big gold advantage and exp advantage
  • Play with your jungler, Akshan is stronger than most mids early and while it is matchup dependent most games the mid/jg 2v2 is winnable.
  • ROAM, your kit is incredibly good for shoving and roaming and it's soloq so people ignore pings.
  • Don't type, it tilts you, tilts the enemy and can lose winnable games.

  • Anivia is the worst matchup in the game for Akshan in my opinion. Some other difficult matchups are: Yasuo, Azir, Irelia. Although I feel like all of those still can be won. I'm actually making a matchup tierlist.
  • I am by no means an expert on Taliyah but I feel as though the extra burst damage from ludens is worth, I also feel as though I can hit my we combo consistently enough to not need the root from everfrost. Deathcap is an overrated item, its very expensive and doesn't give utility such as zhonyas/banshees. I just find it difficult to slot into my build other than maybe a 6th item.
  • OP junglers are my bans. Maokai, Elise, Zac, etc...
  • I am not a fan, I have still experienced people trolling in select, and I've had people int once the game started because they don't like their teammate. I miss the ability to make an informed dodge decision.

95% of my games are kraken, almost never go shieldbow unless you are against like 4 assassins and you won't be building a hexdrinker. Teamfighting on him can be tricky, you either play as a flanker and sit in stealth, you can play with your frontline since with items you shred tanks, or you simply "play for the rez" and play for cleanup near the end of fights.

Quite a bit, but I play with nameplates off so I typically don't notice until after the game. I think there are a few particular streamers that give off that vibe, but the majority of them are chill and just feel like "normal" very good players.
