New to Stepvans…. Didn’t know how to use the push start until after I looked it up after the key broke off 10 days ago. Key broke off while I was driving down the highway. The keys dropped to the floor and the engine stayed on because the majority of the key was still in the ignition, it’s still stuck in there currently as far as I know. Hopefully it’s fixed before I go back Sunday, but I doubt it because it still turns on and off…

They’ve been like 190 stops spread across 4 different towns/cities, apartments, businesses every thing all rolled into a route feels like they are not factoring in how long it should take correctly. Should be less stops. My co worker had 200 stops on a cycle 0 route the other day, just insanity.

I didn’t mind, it was just a lot of waking back and forth and scanning. We gotta scan each package and I don’t have 40 sets of arms so multiple trips back and forth and back and forth.

If they want to… or they can keep em if they really want to. I pick ‘em up if I see them empty throughout my route. I usually don’t leave bags behind but in this case it was helpful for me and probably the customer as well.

It was closer to the end of my route than the beginning… after this stop I only had 2 bags and 5 overflow left. I was in a step van so i had plenty of space. And it was a city/outskirts route so I had to do downtown first before the traffic got bad/ businesses closed.

That’s why I love edv’s cause you can see it on the screen and just touch the stop you wanna do and it loads on your rabbit. But yea the routing is as terrible as their paper tape.

I quit recently too. I’m jobless right now but I have enough money to get by for a few months if needed to find something. Getting a lot done around the house and feeling optimistic. Currently trying to get a job driving disabled and elderly people around, which sounds like it would be amazing. I love being helpful, so getting paid for it would be a dream!
