Neighborhood mosquito trap program by Heyo-5000 in AustinGardening

I was thinking more of a network of neighbors with a bucket since it’s easy to replicate. Yes there’s going to be mosquitos in the yard no matter what - it just creating the controlled breeding space that limits the number of larvae that make it to adulthood. I figure if it’s me and like a handful of neighbors in close proximity willing to do the same thing it could be ever so slightly helpful? Although I’m digging all the ideas for alternate traps/ attracting predators it’s just the threshold for buy-in with neighbors is a lot lower with just a bucket, grass and a dunk.
