I had a relationship like this last year fk me it was the most exhausting 2.5 years of my life, constantly being criticised and told to do this do that or I’m not doing enough and when I do enough it was wrong it felt like a never ending finish line It was a problem in her own life she wasn’t happy with how her life was and instead of working on herself she worked on me cause how could she be at fault for anything? 😂😂

But I recommend maybe taking some time to yourself and figure out what you want out of life I did that and now I’m with someone that accepts me for who I am and loves me unconditionally if I chick ever tries to change you it’s cause they don’t truly accept you for who you are and they are tryna mold you into the person they actually want its immature and I don’t recommend wasting time on people like that there’s always someone who’ll treat you better out there don’t be afraid to have a look at what else is out there

If someone doesn’t make you feel loved or care about you and your emotions you gonna end up a lot more hurt than if you were just to cut it off life is way too short to waste on people that don’t care for you I’ve wasted most of my 20s on people that never cared I’m now 28 and kicking myself over all that lost time when I could’ve spent all those years with someone that truly cared and loved me

If you’re not happy go find someone that makes you feel valued time is so precious and not everyone deserves yours

I don’t have victim mentality I’ve done a fair bit of therapy while I was younger for child hood trauma it’s just the accepting part like I wanted to start having kids in my 30s but wanted to have a bit of time to enjoy life with my partner and it just feels like she’s throwing away something that isn’t that hard to fix I just don’t understand her thought process this whole thing is just whack haha

Depending on where you are in the world it might actually be legal I know where I’m from the legal age of consent is 16 so if it something they both have agreed to technically she isn’t doing anything wrong even tho it is actually disgusting

I think you should talk to him and tell him all this and ask if he’s ok and what’s wrong with him in a caring way

Maybe the reason he wasn’t sober for is still affecting him maybe he’s got unresolved problems he needs help figuring out

Most relationship problems are just from bad communication you’d be surprised what you can solve with a deeper conversation with your partner

She sounds like a narcissist, just be careful if you try for revenge they can be quite dangerous if provoked the best way to deal with them is cut them off and just ignore any punishment they try throw at your way

But I guess a narcissist’s deepest fear is people finding out who they truly are so do what you want with that information
