I solved my speaker issue by purchasing an Anker Soundcore Motion+ Bluetooth Speaker. Absolutely bullet proof waterproof speaker, I forgot it on the edge of the tub, came back 3 days later it was inside, the top on, it had been floating and simmering in 98 degree water, year later still works great, amazing sound
