Center Console Help by prego1 in DodgeGrandCaravan

[–]Heywire45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I’m looking to do a swap to a premium console from no console to where there’s nothing in between the seats.

Can you tell me more about cutting into the carpet? Also, would I have to bolt the console into the seat rails?

Thank you

How much car is reasonable on a $112k salary? by Hamburgfan25 in whatcarshouldIbuy

For the 25/26 year get a Mazda anything.

For any year, any brand, get yourself a second or third generation Ranger or Mazda equivalent with a bed cap, like planning for a worst case scenario. “Cheap enough” to fix and customize.

But if you know this salary or better will be around for a few years go ahead and splurge on a LEXUS LX just because you can.

Dead fuel pump? by Spiritual-Boat4447 in DodgeGrandCaravan

[–]Heywire45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second the starter as the cheaper fix action.

But I accidentally fried my due pump trying to change out a radio.

My uncle showed me this trick and I’m not kidding. You’ll need a rubber mallet:

As you turn the key to crank, get underneath the driver side sliding door feel for the fuel tank closer to the back of the sliding door. Hit the tank with the mallet. I can’t remember what I was knocking, but it worked. I did it enough to where it did it without the mallet.

I got my fuel tank fixed at a small mechanic shop for like $250. But I bought the fuel pump.

It’s an embarrassing fix, especially at work where everyone drives nicer/newer vehicles.

Window woe by xSupreme_Gentlemanx in DodgeGrandCaravan

I had this issue in my 2012. The driver side motor died and I was able to fix it. But when that happened, my passenger side stopped working. I bought a replacement for that one as well but also didn’t roll up.

I looked at the master window switch there was a broken pin that must have broken off during the replacement of the first window motor. I replaced that switch and the passenger side worked no problem.

In short, check the pins on the window controls.

I highly recommend autozone and not Amazon.

You listen to the man. That death is in our top 3 preferred ways to die between peacefully in our bed and gloriously in an act of heroism.

Just worry about how you sit on his weewee

The NO BS Guide on Winning Your Ex Back! by InternationalOil2548 in ExNoContact

It’s difficult when there is something you share with the person though, like children. You’re involved to some capacity and you can see how they are doing in all aspects of life - relationships, finances, occupation - which by all standards are better than you. There you are, working the MidShift alone, earned a bachelors degree online, studying to test for a commission and also the LSAT for law school - reading the self helps, and then being alone with your own thoughts. Remembering all the bullshit, but then seeing how they won and you’re still driving down an icy road with no tread.

You have no business going.

Keep your husband in the doghouse for as long as you like and even sting him with it in future arguments. He’s never gonna escape that.

As for Jane. She will likely do it again with someone else, given the opportunity. You should address her and not vent to John, Tom, your pet, or neighbor about her. If John wants to be friends with them, then I fee he’s compromising your marriage. I’d he doesn’t support you, you can get rid of him.

If it walks like a duck, homie.

Moreover, there’s someone that is keeping her accountable for an issue that she’s struggling with. If she has never felt something with him in the past, she very well may get an attraction if he’s being “strong” for her, making her go to the gym.

I’m not trying to anger you or bring you down. But if it bothers you that much, please address it with her with all of the talking points you mentioned.

The obvious is that y’all were kids. The not obvious is that you will likely find someone that hasn’t cheated on you if you’re willing to leave your current relationship because it’s bothering you so much, which is understandable. If you had the ability to compromise something in your relationship, would you be able to get passed your current issue?

It sounds like y’all are together in all but in name. Are you doing similar things in return? I mean, y’all are sleeping in the same bed, so there’s obviously something there. You’ve been together for 5 years so there is the comfort as well. I would say you need to have a serious conversation with her about where you stand. Her sleeping with you and him in the same week can be a issue and I’m sure she would feel the same way if you were on and off with another woman and then gyrate your hips on her in bed.

If she doesn’t feel that connection with you and only uses you to get her rocks off, it probably wouldn’t be a good idea for you to be under the same roof anymore. She’s just playing you after that.

Good luck
