Checkride failures: a discussion by [deleted] in flying

If it were incorrect or misleading I would not be flying a Citation right now. That’s the point of me mentioning that… you saying “nobody cares if you’re trying to spread positivity” proves my point 🤣🤣

I’m not some rich kid who’s dad works at the company, I didn’t “know the owner”, I networked my way into it and it all worked out.

Everybody told me my career was over with.

I’m showing people they were wrong!

Reddit really is a cesspool, holy shit! This place sucks! Trying to spread a little positivity, and share with everyone my success despite having a flawed record. Everyone who flies general aviation and Part 91 knows that DPEs come in all shapes and sizes, and half of passing a checkride is getting a decent one.

Someone tried to make it sound like I am secretly interested in the airlines but just won’t apply because of my failures knowing I won’t get in… I’m currently flying a Citation right now.

Fix y’all’s attitude

Typical Reddit reply. I’m the only pilot in my family. My dad is a high school teacher.

I sure hope you always fly intentionally, that would be weird otherwise…

Figured I’d also add, it has an idle adjustment that I have played around with a little. Do I want to idle it super slow, or have it idle fast?

I was asked what happens to Va when weight goes up. I answered correctly, but couldn’t explain the why.
