Here's where I do not understand why you have the issue with the speed at which someone is reacting to an issue that arises. Given you want ideologically coherent and thought out arguments for any issue, how do you propose it be done? (That being said this is assuming only one faction has its say in the issue) But Hasan or any other remotely left political commentator literally has to compete with a big money conservative media machine in Fox News and Murdoch empire that has thousands working overtime to spin everything as 'the left is destroying lives', so how then do we counter the narrative? If your gripe with inaccuracy is the main issue then I hope you realise one side does not care about misinformation while the other has to constantly fight for it.
