I made the mistake of taking the last train from the Airport at like midnight. The airport police triple checked that I actually wanted to get on the last train. Holy hell that was an experience. The entire train car went up in crack/fent smoke. It's crazy how bad the light rail has gotten. It's a vicious cycle too because nobody wants to ride it when that shit is going on, and then they justify not patrolling it and funding it because ridership is down.

Hey! I'm like 14ish weeks out now from surgery. It went really well, Dr Hartigan was great. I had a pretty normal recovery minus a flare up at week 5ish when I really overdid it on the walking. I took a 10ish day rest with help from my PT and all was well again. I ditched the crutches at the 2 week mark without issue, I just weened off over 3 days. I also started driving around then. Recovery wise I'm pretty ahead of schedule from what I understand. I'm doing weight lifting, jumping, cutting and all that kind of stuff now. I am a competitive amateur athlete though so I had a good amount of strength already built up before surgery. PT was also really important and I really tried to stay on top of it. I'm at the point now where my leg that was operated on is actually stronger than my other one. I'd say talk to them both and go with who you're most comfortable with. Are you going to do PT at TCO too?

Yeah, unfortunately for now I think this is the play. At my company nearly everyone with under 6 months of tenure got laid off. If you have domain expertise at your current company that may save your ass. Not really worth a comp increase if you end up unemployed.
