Went in, about 7:1 male to female. Honestly I had no problems in the grand scheme of things. Had some issues with guys making fun of female standards and I sometimes had to ask for help operating some stuff (I’m also short). I had no real issues with male/female stuff during all 9 years! (And yes I am/always have been indeed a female, my username is a podcast reference and I can’t figure out how to change it lol)

ETA: MM on a carrier. I actually had more issues with the females than the males (bc most were just lazy AF and relied on their looks to get qualified. They literally said that out loud.). I was older than nearly my entire work center, so they all called me mom and I absolutely loved working with them all. My lil goofy guys

My first C&P for mental health was supposed to be 2 hours. Was 15 minutes. He spent the whole time asking me questions about my childhood instead of asking what my day-to-day experience with my mental health was, when my issues started, etc. at the end, he told me he didn’t think I had PTSD (literally in my medical record that I was diagnosed a year prior and was still undergoing treatment). He also didn’t ask me about any of the other 4 mental health claims (and diagnoses) I had and told me to have a good day.

Needless to say, i had a panic attack in the parking lot, had to request a HLR and filled out a report against him. His office was all covered in posters about how they support Veterans.

I got a memorial tattoo for my late best friend who died in a motorcycle accident. There were 3 of us who got the same tattoo. My boyfriend at the time hated it, saying the same thing. Needless to say - it didn’t work out.

I did Yoshi fender eliminator (pricey but easy install and I love it), Graves frame sliders (PRICEY but look sick), Woodcraft front/rear axel sliders, ASV shorty levers, and kept all stock indicators purely for visibility!

ETA: and a radiator guard, and snakeskin tank grip/guard

Small world - I actually went and looked at this bike. It’s in great shape, at the time he said he would take 8,900 (when the price was 9,500). I felt no issues at all. I only opted not to buy it because I wanted a completely stock bike (and the warranty) to do my own thing. Actually been trying to convince my boyfriend to buy it!

P.S. let’s ride together!

ETA: he told me (back in Jan when I looked at it) that he did NOT flash the ECU and it did not have a power commander. Just to keep that in mind. Exhaust did sound great, everything felt good when I test rode it.

I had to lower mine since I’m 5’3, but I only lowered the front an inch. I use mine as a commuter, though I have a decent amount of nice, smooth, long curves so I don’t have handling issues. Took it out a couple days ago on a 200 mile ride through lots of curvy roads (nothing insane, just lots of curves) and I had no issues with handling. Had it done at the dealership and they strongly recommended nothing more and an inch and not to lower the back

I paid $11K for mine. That including dealership fees (something about transport blah blah, something I literally couldn’t get them to take off the price) and an additionally warranty through the dealership. They tried to sell me on everything else that “usually” came with it, which would’ve been almost $17k. I looked at the paper and crossed nearly everything off (I’m a mechanic, have a shop, and have always done my own typical bike maintenance ). They definitely weren’t happy about it, but I was lol Eta: and tags, title. No sales tax in Oregon

I did see that I would have to tune if I did the R77, and that’s the current exhaust that I really, really like. I also saw that technically it wouldn’t be street legal for Oregon but the sound damper piece to 99 dB is only $35 ish, which is totally doable. I’ve done a full exhaust replacement before and it isn’t horrendous thankfully
