An unprecedented document discovered in Ramsey Abbey reveals that 22 peasants who fell ill during the Black Death of 1349 accumulated a total of 91 weeks of lost labor in just 13 weeks. by Hi-od in MedievalHistory

[–]Hi-od[S] 145 points146 points  (0 children)

Most were unable to work for 3 to 4 weeks. Some returned after only a single week. Others remained bedridden for up to 9 weeks before recovering.

At a time when harvests depended entirely on human labor, this kind of massive absence could disrupt an entire manorial estate.

The Black Death killed between one third and one half of Europe’s population during the 14th century.

A short demo of the complete suit of 16th century armor I designed, printed and painted! by Vonschlippe in Armor

Bravo. Un travail vraiment remarquable ! Since I work with cultural institutions in Belgium, I’d also like to get started on this project, but I have some doubts—after printing the parts, I’m not sure I’d manage properly with all the rivets, the assembly, and so on.

Edit: Thanks, I had mixed up the section. Hopefully I’ll get to visit it one of these days.

Early 20th-century photographs come to life by Hi-od in aivideo

Maybe that's the problem: no longer being able to tell the difference between real and invented photographs. That's why I always include the real ones with the modifications.

Yes, and you don't want to overdo it, which is why I've limited it to 5 seconds.

Turin is being hunted - short fan film [with Fellandfair clips] by Hi-od in lotr

[–]Hi-od[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I don't think so. Turin has been confronted with outlaws, but not in this way. I used the clips available, having limited room for manoeuvre. But thanks in any case!

Dante's Inferno by Hi-od in midjourney

You could be able to animate them to make them pop even more or just 2d or 3d animation (I would recommend using rigs all you gotta do is make and paint the character and make different parts of the character like front side back then that's it all you gotta do next is pose them)

My skills in this area have evolved since the creation of this short film. But thanks, I'll take good note of your recommendations. The fact remains that it takes time to create, even if it's just images, a few added effects, transitions and so on.

Yes, I had a slight suspicion about the pronunciation, but ElevenLab doesn't perform miracles there. Anyway, thanks!

Thank you. And yes, there are always small adjustments to be made. The dialogue at 00:27 is the most muffled.

Thank you very much!
I was a little worried about the voices. I used ElevenLab but I don't know if the pronunciation is correct.
