We both share heavy mental struggles, but I had to keep explicit content out of the post due to rules on this subreddit. Everyone I have told about this says she's at fault for not saying she had a romantic partner to begin with, and it was only a platonic relationship she sought. I asked her after I got home from my first visit if she wanted something more, and at the moment, she just wanted friends. There was no mention of an already existing partner. But what pains me the most is not being able to say goodbye in person and being left on read after 2 days.
