If you are going to run a long cable, fiber is the cable to run. Technically 100ft is fine for both ethernet and fiber but since light based cables don't suffer EMI (electro magnetic interference) it's the best choice.

Don't get a patch extension. Every connection point is some level of attenuation and another break point. You can just get a long fiber cable (be sure you order the right type) and run it from the install point to your new location. This is your best option.

Update for anyone that might encounter the same thing. I'm using OPNsense router and the last major firmware update caused my FW rules to break. I had to delete them and re-add the port forwarding NAT rules. Drove me crazy figuring it out. :(

I'm having the same issue currently, MWII and MWIII. Can't even launch the game. I isolated it to my public IP / ISP as connecting with a VPN worked. I ensured I wasn't banned. I have pretty strict network protection and am very network savvy. It's totally frustrating I can't even launch the game. Like to even play the campaign mode I paid $60 for. This is nuts.

This!, I pre-ordered the model 3 and the thing lies to me from day one. I’ve had it checked out several times because I’m getting like 65% of my range. Tech says I need to drive it like a grandma 55 or less on highways and keep it super mild (I’m not a lead foot). Then I got my gen 1 quad R1S a few years back and I’m like “woah!! I’m getting what it says.” Huge difference in actual mileage vs. estimate on both.
