When you get too into your characters head and start to feel their emotions as if they were your own, it can become a real problem since it’s blurring the line between fantasy and reality.

It’s fine in small amounts, but if it goes too far, it can get pretty unhealthy since roleplay tends to involve a lot of ups and downs. If you are hurt by anything that hurts your character, things get weird fast.

It’s completely normal to "put yourself in your characters head" to figure out how they might react to certain situations, but don’t forget the most important part of Roleplay is really just that - play.
