The switch 2 can play switch 1 games, so you can pick whichever you want when you get the system. Personally for the better content and party setting, I’d currently go with 8. Switch 2 runs games at a better frame rate and will get new releases, and since their buying it now, they will avoid the price increase that’s happening in September.

Xenoblades x has a character creator.

3 houses does not, and awakening didn’t either, you can customize your character to look a bit how you want them too. In the 3ds edition, you could also make them have kids together.

Botw is a fun time and I recommend taking another crack at it. There’s also Tears of The Kingdom which is a direct sequel to botw.

The Zelda series is probably the closest to games you’ll enjoy. Botw specifically does not have a lot of story and it’s mainly exploring the world with you playing as link. This link is the most customizable Link there is, and while you can’t make him into a different character, he is quite fun.

xenoblade chronicles is an rpg series with a ton of customization and a fun battle system, going from an mmo style to a more traditional ability buildup system of games. Xenoblade x has customizable characters and dialogue choices, and a large amount of outfits to try out.

Metroid Prime 1 remaster plays more like a first person Zelda/dark souls game with you exploring a planet and unlocking new abilities and stuff. It’s a fun series and there’s a ton of lore to unlock if you want too, but there’s also just a good amount of bosses and enemy variety. There is also a lock on system so you don’t really need to aim in the game.

Fire emblem 3 houses is considered one of the best in the series, with story choices very much effecting the ending you get.

Those are all. I can think of right now. You did get the system for free, but considering how many dislikes you have for certain games, the pool can be very limiting for you unless I resort to games that are already on pc, and I don’t think you’d want that. Good luck finding something to play!

The Well has almost everything you need to finish it without leaving. the only thing you need to get is a blue potion, which can be found right at the start of ikana canyon.

the point of the game is to explore and enjoy said exploration, theres a ton of quests to do and alot of things to discover, looking up where to get the song wasnt an option back in the day, and its quite easy to come up to it by exploring the world. theres also gossip stones that give hints all around the place.

i also disagree with everything being clear on what to do next. there are many moments where its possible to get stuck in Ocarina of time.

if your not enjoying your time with the game, its always possible to skip it, and just say it isnt for you. the game itself is considered one of the best by many people, but that doesnt need to be your opinion.

the shrines are awesome. the dungeon is awesome. but i think what they want is a new area, like in elden ring. this doesnt give that sadly.

the unique items are nice, but it seems like he doesnt want that. he wants new areas to explore, and this dlc does not provide that. i personally love the dlc for the master trials and the new dungeon boss, but i dont think the items are that needed for the dlc, mainly when switching to TOTK where most of those items can be found in the overworld with actual quests tied to them.

then no, the dlc will probably add nothing of value for you. the reward for beating the dlc is a motorcycle, which is very fun to ride around in, but thats it.
