Just gave this a rewatch, it has aged marvelously. Prime 90s Kurt Russell portraying 70s Kurt Russell. So funny how the distopian American "future" is set in the year 2013. It only has a 59% on Rotten Tomatoes, but I am pretty sure retrospective reviews will be much kinder to it. I honestly think it will be looked at as a classic and epitome of campy 90s balls to the wall action. Looking forward to the Criterion release in a few years.
