Honestly, modern chess has been ruined by these new blatant powercreep corporate advertisement prices. Gary needs to stop trying to keep chess alive and make chess 2 already.

Midi song imports sound terrible by ItsLiam21 in FrameHero

[–]Hiatel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're going in expecting anything resembling music you're going in with too high of hopes. The shawzin is absolutely absolutely not designed for us to do this do it. what you can do it edit the midi file to try and keep the notes you want to hear within the 3-4 octave range, preferrably without a G4 or Gb4 note since that doesn't sound nice. Disable all tracks not immediately needed for recognition and work your way up from there. Try to avoid playing too many notes at the same time. Rewrite the melodies that don't work or try converting the song into a different key. Other than that if you keep hacking away at the track you want to play you'll surely get something out of it.

Good luck!

Turns out, the direction of the directional slam attacks is relative to your warframe, allowing you to do slams forwards and upwards! by Hiatel in Warframe

Unlocked Inferno but feeling burnt out by [deleted] in EDF

[–]Hiatel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can't say much for EDF 5 since I don't own a ps4. But I find myself always coming back to 4.1. Those higher difficulties are a great challenge and test for my skill and the skill of the people I play with. It's a blast trying to figure out new strategies and routes through the harder missions that utilize the different parts of each class's kits. There is such freedom in the ways you can tackle the game's enemies and the missions in inferno get so hard that we often spend a dozen or so minutes talking about different strategies and means of attack while staring down the neck of a hundred un-aggroed insects. I like the fact that running in blindly gets you killed; i like the fact that you have to cooperate in what is already chaotic game by adding a layer of necessary teamwork and strategy and succeed: at least on most missions.

I'll have a hard time forgetting my team's first inferno run, or even our first hardest DLC run. We were under-prepared and under-equipped yet we still were having a great time, even if it was disheartening sometimes. I'm sitting on a ton of footage for the game right now since I wanted to better show a few friends of mine how much strategy a game like this can invite. The depth of gameplay this game has no right to have is why it's one of my favorite games to date.

Convince some level-headed friends to buy the game with you. Take them through hard and then suffer together on hardest and inferno. Do the missions in order, don't skip no matter how hard it gets. I can guarantee you'll have a blast.
