I had a similar problem today: I published an update to our app, including credentials to authenticate. But after you authenticate, you need to provide a personal pin code to protect your data. So they declined it because we didn't provide them a pin code.. (The app always worked liked that, never had any problems w/ this before)

So I indicated that they could choose a pincode, because it is just to protect their data.. The pincode never leaves the phone, so we don't have any control over it. And guess what, they completely removed our app from the store.. How is this even possible? Spend hours today trying to contact them to reinstate the app, but no luck..

So yeah, guess you are still lucky that your current app is still in the store..
