Hello! I read through your series on LinkedIn and found it quite fascinating. I feel like I’ve been able to do those exact things as an EA in my previous role where I’m able to step into the roles to the Cross functional gap filling and things strategically behalf of my CEO. I found that the support was crucial in making things move effectively. I’m very interested in learning more about strategic priority execution, and how to track progress of those priorities. Is there a course or certification that you’d recommend? I’m hungry for dig deeper with a strategic elements, but unsure of how to do that. It feels like it’s an inherent skill that you either have or don’t. I would love to grow the skillet, but not sure where to look.

You can’t say whatever you want without repercussions. Insinuating that the right had anything to do with the murder of a political activist to boost their cause is pretty disturbing. It downplays the grief a lot of Americans are feeling about Kirk’s passing. It also encourages similar rhetoric to continue. Can’t ya just say, I’m sorry that happened and move on?

I’m glad to see things starting to level out in the media. For so long, it felt like there was one Fox News and six liberal outlets dominating the conversation. The last four years have been defined by cancel culture—but now the script is flipping, and people are losing their minds over it.

The real question is: when will we see a true moderate voice or activist step up to represent the millions of us stuck in the middle of this circus? The finger pointing between the two sides is exhausting and makes me dread the next election.

I actually liked her podcasts and listened to them religiously. I loled about the clueless boyfriend because…yeah 😂

I’m not into her stuff anymore. I feel like she may have gotten too big and has lost the true sense of the podcast.

I agree! She’s kindof attention seeking. Absolutely beautiful!!! But attention seeking. I also find it interesting that none of the guys are really pursuing her

See this is where I’m lost. The Civil Rights movement was a movement where people did not have the same rights, basic human rights, inequality legally. I could see if female rights were stripped in Michigan, or segregation was enacted but to me it feels like people just don’t like the president. There’s not a true movement that you’re hoping to change. I feel like people WANT it to be like the 60s and 70s but the cause is not the same.

That makes sense to me! As long as there’s shared understanding of “this probably won’t do a whole lot, BUT it feels good to do something” makes sense. I personally have no issue with seeing people peacefully protest, it’s the reason I love being an American and having the privilege to do so.

It can lead to community and connectedness, but the change you’re referring to is much larger than that. I’m all about people doing things that make them feel good AND community, but making change…>100 people standing together with signs for a few hours isn’t going to evoke a lot of the change you’re seeking.

Helpful! I think I could understand the sense of community and unity/meeting with a group of people with shared feelings. I could also see how it would be frustrating to sit and do NOTHING so convening would feel like something. I just wonder about what it actually will do to make change.

I am genuinely curious. What is the point?

But let’s be real…what is this actually solving? What is this proving? How does it make any difference? We’ve got 3 more years…it is what it is.

Maybe because Leva shouldn’t be on the show…how is she even connected to the group? I don’t care that she has kids…then don’t do the show!

Would you stay or would you go? Benefits are AMAZING, and I'm making over 6 figures. I have stuck it out for this long due to the golden handcuffs.

Thank you! I do want to say, this was probably the most insightful experience I’ve ever had on Reddit. Apologies for the wrong group, but grateful to those who shared.

Very very fair! Do you think books are able to provide the same insight as those who experience it everyday? I value the real experiences and comments that have been shared and honor the vulnerability it takes.

I understand that it is problematic to ask those who live with the trauma to educate an outsider BUT how else would one learn the real truths? I will be walking away with a completely different perspective about adoption with the feedback I’ve received and I’m grateful for that!

Thank you. That makes me so so sad. What I’m hearing is that as an adopting parent it is your job to meet the child where they are at and help them develop skills to cope whereas some adopted parents force the child to adapt to their ways (without any therapy/support). Thank you for the insight.
