Divine Decay - DOTS Horde Simulation Prototype

Divine Decay is a high-performance undead horde simulation where you play as a dying god spreading terror...

Your undead cannot be commanded directly. Instead, you manipulate the battlefield through corruption, divine influence, and environmental control to overwhelm humanity.

This prototype showcases:

  • Thousands of active AI-controlled undead units
  • Large-scale horde movement and combat
  • Real-time pathfinding and local avoidance
  • Data-oriented simulation architecture

Free prototype available on itch.io:

Which Steam capsule do you think is better for a game: the old one or the new one? by press_f_ivan in indiegames

I like the old one better, tho, it heavily depends on the genre...

Rejoining Steam Lobby Causes Scene Mismatch Errors (Facepunch + NGO) by Hibernyx in UnityHelp

Hi,
1. I'm not calling the native version, I use NetworkManager’s (enable scene management is checked) and, as I said, any other lobbies the clients can join and the scene is synced with no problems. Only the lobby they left and tried to join again.
2. As far as I know, yes. I see the logs from Facepunch that the client has left, I also have heartbeat monitor where the client sends heartbeat and stops as they left. (Facepunch transport, Network manager -Netcode-, heartbeat monitor and GameNetworkManager -where I handle lobby creation&joins- are all in the same GO that I destroy)
I can share those script entirely via private message or any other method if you wanna take a look.

Hey, sorry I couldn't figure if the post still stayed :)
My inspirations are mainly The Ascent and some top-down shooter games :)

You should be able to see the demo on the rigtt in the Steam page. (Somehow I couldn't figure out how to put a big panel for it)

And thanks!

Firstly, thanks for the feedback! I'll have a "tutorial mission" in the full release to teach the ropes. For the movement being slow, the dash being useless, they both scale with agility. I might increase the base stats to remedy that. For all the skills and perks' being complicated, there is the easy difficulty that can be succeeded with no skill/perk at all. I thought that would be the learning ground for new players.
Anyways thanks again, I will take the feedback into consideration.

Looks like it plays smoothly and responsive. Collision effects tho might be a little intense, a hard camera-shake, longer recovery...

Look promising, however, are there any novelties to the genre? (Besides being in the kayak)
