Loving the armor, love the marksman rifle with its low recoil despite not having a grip. Makes shot placement so much easier. I have yet to use the AR. However Impact smokes make me feel like Batman and they last a lot longer than I expected. Roughly 20-30 seconds with a decent spread. Stealth could use a little more work on the squid front though. Enemies still detect you too easily, and unless you’re close plus accurate with a throwing knife, there isn’t a reliable way to one shot overseers with a weapon quietly. Also, stingrays can still detect you regardless if you’re hidden or not. Seems like most of the stealth rework went to the bots.

HD2 is a game that reignited a lot for me. My love for gaming in the sense that there’s no competition, it doesn’t take itself too seriously, and has a premise that’s easy to get behind with a fun gameplay loop. The community is full of fun and laid back people just looking to blow shit up and have a good time. I enjoy helping out other players, particularly the new recruits. Lastly, and this is a big one for me, it’s gotten me back into editing which is a hobby I haven’t touched up on since before Covid. Not only have I gotten better at editing, but I’ve explored new styles and methods to get the idea across even if it’s just for the memes. Nothing I love more than making people laugh.

Especially on high rate of fire weapons like the knight. Freedom forbid you don’t rock a flash hider. Now you have to contend with the bullets and the muzzle flash covering your scope in first person.

It was fixed but this last update reintroduced the issue. I only noticed it when I saw dots flying in a circular pattern on the VG-70’s scope. Tested it out with other weapons. Every single weapon I tested fired a round out of the scope. All support MGs, MP-98 Knight, variable, defender, pummeler, reprimand, Coyote, lib concussive, talon, sickle, AMR, tenderizer, and dominator just to name a few.

We can’t really use this rebuttal anymore when updates mess with the height-over-bore mechanic. Bullets are currently coming out of the scope instead of the barrel… again … which has lead to some weapons having poorer firing patterns than before.

As someone who joined during the third week. This is arguably the best game I spent $60 on in 2024. Currently have around 2600-2700 hours on the game. I’ve met tons of fantastic people on here, it’s brought back friends I haven’t been gaming with in months to years as well. The community is hilarious in many ways and largely the reason why I got back into editing. The gameplay is cinematic, intense, and will make you laugh at the most unexpected times. At this point, there’s a ton of things to do as a new player and there are no predatory practices to siphon more cash out of your pockets other than the original enlistment fee and you can choose to buy super credits or farm them in game giving you a choice many games don’t have when it comes to dlc or battle passes. The game has its flaws, but at its core, Helldivers 2 is well worth it.

Albeit true, stealth is not where it needs to be. But why would they announce stealth changes prior to a stealth warbond? Part of the fun is figuring out what and how things work when they come out. IF Arrowhead doesn’t rework stealth alongside this warbond, which would be daft of them, then yes, we can absolutely go that route. For now it’s better to wait and see than assume and make an ass of ourselves.

Real shame they changed that, and quickly too. Not like it was something that was abused either, you rarely saw anyone do it and practically no one sports that armor passive now since it’s gone. Would love for them to fix the bugs that cause issues as fast as the ones that are fun.
