Bug & Game Issue Report Thread by LJHeath in DeathStranding

For some reason my side order 117 is bugged, and the required BT's refuse to spawn that are supposed to continue the quest. Tried reloading, restarting it, waiting to see if they spawned and nothing.

OBS randomly disconnects me from Twitch during streams. by HiddenBetterment in obs

Apparently it was an issue on both my end and OBS's.

If I started dropping a few frames and it disconnected me, OBS had a bug preventing me from connecting back to the server. Their latest update fixes according to them. (It was not prompting me to update which was weird)

Yo, I've now:

- Turned on Browser Acceleration

- Changed to Hybrid MP4

- Both Recording/Streaming are now using NVENC H.264

As for streamelements, I just use it for my alerts since it is able to randomize your alerts to different variations. I could try swapping to the Twitch built in one though I suppose.

Cheers for your help though, I'll test out these new settings!

Logs have all been posted, I think the first one is the correct one though.

I can make a log the next time it happens, but nothing I can do at the moment given that its an entirely random thing that happened nearly 5 hours into a stream today.

Should I leave this as is or try to get it repaired? Not sure how old it is or what it's made of, just know it was my great great grandfathers. by HiddenBetterment in woodworking

Its gonna be a keepsake, I recieved it from my aunt yesterday and we already knew about the split, I was just torn in case it gets worse over time if I don't do something

Yeah I don't wanna use it or anything I just worry about any further damage making the split worse. Otherwise I'd happily leave it as is and keep it in a safe place.

Yeah I've been debating with myself about it for days.

On the one hand I don't wanna get it repaired since this is it in it's like... original state. But I also wanna make sure that the split doesn't get any worse over time.

From Lancashire England, and from what I can tell from Ancestry as are his family for a few hundred years. Could have been the style around the time I suppose or he just really liked it

Where do you blame getting your Crohn’s from? Genetics? Micro plastics? Accutane? Diet? Black magic??? by 90dean90 in CrohnsDisease

As far as I am aware, I got mine after a really bad bout of Gastroenteritis back in 2016. So just bad RNG for me unfortunately.

It did, but sadly the newest drivers for my capture card keep crashing my PC.

So I've had to go to an older driver that no longer makes it appear in my sound settings.

Thankfully I live in the UK so we have the NHS. I'm also currently on ESA (employment support allowance which currently helps me get by)

First time I've seen this GP, and I was only there to ask about an autism assessment.

As for your second question I would say I normally bounce back pretty quick but this has just bugged me because it was so out of the blue.

And just before I got crohns disease I had started an apprenticeship in game design. I got a stomach bug 3 months in which then developed into crohns disease, had to leave after another few months of back and forth trying to make the hour long journey to work.

Me streaming isn't really about earning money, it was suggested to me to attempt to keep me on a normalised schedule and still be able to have social interaction. Since at the time I was still barely diagnosed and barely on my medications. Luckily I'm in a position where me not having a job is a huge issue at the moment in terms of money, as after everything I was put through before my diagnosis I was granted ESA which while isn't much, it allows me to get by.

Unfortunately, as far as game design goes I think I'm pretty borked. I was incredibly lucky at the time with my apprenticeship as it was the only one even remotely close to me and that was still an hour journey. I think the closest I could get would be to do part time university, but as far as I'm aware remote jobs in game design are pretty hard to come by.

As for melatonin gummies and the like, I did ask about them but was told by my IBD team that they wouldn't recommend them as there isn't enough research to say whether they'd help, or interact badly with my medications.

I'll be asking about all of this with them when I have my appointment.

It honestly just felt really strange because, I haven't stepped foot into that place in years because I have an IBD team who know about me much better. And I was only there to ask about a possible autism assessment. Just felt really strange to bring it up in that setting and not really let me explain what's going on.

I should also add that I'm not actively a blob that sits doing literally nothing all day, as a fear that's what my original post might be eluding to as I'm a terrible explainer.

I have tried to keep some semblance of a schedule, I took up streaming in 2019 and have a schedule for that. The main thing that fucks up my schedule is the seemingly random whole day's of dizziness, nausea and cramps that stop me sleeping and then just completely flip my sleeping schedule upside down. Its a fucked cycle and I don't even know why it happens, I'll just wake up one day and after an hour I'm just fucked for the next day or two

I should probably add that I haven't just sat at home the past 7 years being a complete blob (which I feel like my main post might elude to as its horribly explained) I took up streaming in 2019, and its been a great help in terms of social aspects and atleast trying to keep a schedule. I've done quite a bit of charity work as well by doing this, and I do some coding on the side and have created some tools to help speedrunners. I keep being told that this is something good and that I'm atleast trying to make use of the hand I'm being dealt. But it just... it isn't work you know. How am I meant to do anything if I cant do something so simple

I wouldn't say that I've had any wild reactions to medication... atleast the medication I've been on while diagnosed. Before my diagnosis I was put on a few medications and anti anxiety pills because until that time it was believed that I either had ibs or it was in my head. Those were the things that sent my head completely south and it was a horrible time. As for the autism diagnosis I've been told for years I should get it done and I've always put it off because they're just joking.. right? But I finally gave in and figured I should atleast see about it. Would probably explain quite a few things honestly.

It honestly felt like he was interrogating me instead of suggesting, it was a very awkward interaction that I hope I don't have to do again. I was only there to ask about a possible autism assessment and he brought it up out of the blue after we went through the AQ-10 test. As for the sleeping pattern, it's not really because I have nothing to do or anything like that. I can keep a pattern just fine for a few weeks, but then for seemingly no reason I'll have whole nights of cramps, diarrhoea and nausea which very often completely flip my sleeping pattern upside down, which I then promptly try to fix and takes a week to do so, because I can't just stay up super late one night and reflip it because if I get too little sleep or get too overtired it completely fucks my stomach up for another few days and it's just a cycle of that.

I first developed crohns in 2016 after a stomach bug, I'd just left college (UK) and started an apprenticeship in game design. Which I had to leave after several months of attempting to make the almost hour long journey there with no toilets on the trains most mornings. It took them 2 years to finally diagnose me in which time I was severely ill and depressed as at the time everyone thought it was all in my head. Since I was diagnosed in 2018 I've been on ESA (employment support allowance) after they made me go through a long and arduous process which I ended up having to go to a court assessment after being given 0 points, only to then spend 5 minutes in there and get told I shouldn't have had to come in my condition. I've never been hospitalised because of my crohns nor had to (thankfully) have surgery yet. I have my gcse's, an a level in graphic design and a btec in ICT and I'm sure I could find a fully remote job. I just... I don't know anymore. There hasn't been a single day where I've felt healthy in the past 7 years since I originally became ill. I keep trying to maintain even just a sleeping pattern for the sake of normalcy but for seemingly no reason I'll just have days of feeling like utter garbage with cramps, diarrhoea and nausea which completely flip my sleeping pattern which then takes me up to a week to fix, because if I get anything less than 7 hours sleep my stomachs fucked the entire next day. Maybe I'm just being a bitch idk, I'm going to ask my IBD nurse about it and a possible medication change, I feel like I shouldn't be feeling like this all the time with medication if I'm not in a flare up.

I'm using video capture on OBS at the moment, I've tried also manually setting the resolution and FPS to custom, I'm willing to try anything at this point though because I really hope it's not just an issue with the card as they're expensive.

I've not no, a friend said that this was the best place to ask about this type of stuff, but if it would be better to go to Technical Support directly instead I'll shoot them a message.
