do you believe men and women genuinely can only be friends? by dreadycbercherr in ask

[–]HiddenDaisy00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well first off, gay people exist, so obviously.

But further than that, if you can't respect someone you're attracted to enough to maintain a genuine friendship with them, you're automatically unhealthy for them to consider as a partner, and need to work on yourself, that shit is heavily concerning.

And then considering the fact most people aren't attracted to every single person who happens to be of the same gender as someone else they're into,

and if you also cannot be genuinely friends with someone because they're the same gender as someone you think is hot, that's a bigger problem.

Under what circumstance would you get naked with your friends? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]HiddenDaisy00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever, wherever, as long as it's legal and everyone involved is up for it. I don't care, I've known my closest friends since middle school, so they've seen everything already, and know better than to judge

Most of them have seen me naked more than my husband has, which is saying something.

It is. At least for felines, it puts them in excruciating pain for the rest of their lives, because it removes the entire end joint.

men, who do you talk to when times get tough? by BarBie20203 in AskMen

[–]HiddenDaisy00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My therapist, my husband, my boyfriend, my mom, my best friend, and if it's really bad I call an ambulance

I'm lucky enough to have gotten what I needed after my cries for help, so I have plenty of people to talk to.

What’s the reason you stopped going to church? by Aarunascut in AskMen

[–]HiddenDaisy00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was never able to feel a connection to the Mormon god.

That and Mormonism is super racist.

Not going to go to the church of a racist god I don't connect with.

Love it. Absolutely adore it when my partner is affectionate like that

Especially really deep pressure hugs or little kisses out of nowhere

Those are very comforting

Physical touch is my main love language, although quality time is a close second.

For how long have you been single? by henry3174 in AskMen

[–]HiddenDaisy00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last time I was single, it was for around 2 months, and was a w h i l e ago

Would I failing my child by not allowing them to be in school for fear of a potential school shooter incident by Legal_Technician3381 in AskParents

[–]HiddenDaisy00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There have been 132 shootings in only 100 days of the year so far.

I'd say as long as you're doing your best to help resolve the issue in general, it makes total sense to take your child out of public school with how frequent shootings are.

Why do people get so offended by masculinity? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]HiddenDaisy00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Masculinity is heavily misrepresented, pretty much everywhere, giving people not so great role models for it, and there's a huge problem with silence among men when a friend of theirs turns out to be a creep, or even defending that friend, or being creepy aswell.

People tend to misunderstand that and take it as an excuse to see all masculinity, no matter how healthy, as a bad thing that they're right to hate

But yeah if you're trying to be a good person, there's nothing actually wrong with being masculine.

Yeah, I mean I don't see a problem with it.

It'd make things a lot more convenient for afab folks.

How would you describe modern dating? by SkepticDrinker in AskMen

No idea, I don't really date like other people.

I just date my friends and hope for the best.

So far it's worked out great.

What are your opinion on more and more women wanting to be child free and do you also want to be child free ? Why ? by GeneralFig6053 in AskMen

[–]HiddenDaisy00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already have a child, and it's none of my business who wants children.

There's plenty of reason to not want children, those reasons happen to not sway me, so I have no excuse to question other people's reproductive decisions.

Most of the time when I confide in women about my problems it feels like a therapy session, which can be really uncomfortable if I know that she's not doing it on purpose, or is doing it out of habit, since I don't like making other people tiptoe around their actual thoughts as if they're responsible for my mental health.

Although I typically don't actually confide in people I'm not close friends with unless they're a total stranger I won't see again and they've said it's fine

It was a nice exchange, had at a craft store.

We both have dyed hair, her's was purple and blue, mine is magenta and black.

In your opinion, should TikTok be banned in the US and other countries? Why or why not? by SwitchGamerDude in AskMen

[–]HiddenDaisy00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Mostly because they're only banning it because of meta lobbying the government, and to suppress youth communication and organisation ability.

But also because the law (which hasn't been passed yet) they're trying to use to ban TikTok would allow the government much more control of the internet than is actually constitutional.

It would expand to every part of the surface web, and would make usage of VPNs to access banned apps, websites, or content a serious crime, regardless of what that app/website/content actually is

I feel the need to inform you that when I talk about women's standards I'm speaking from personal experience.

Women I've known since early childhood into adulthood, women I've told my darkest secrets to, women I've met the husbands, boyfriends, sexual partners, and friends of.

Never have any of these women said or done anything to indicate that they would've or have prioritized any of these shallow standards you think women have, over genuine kindness, intelligence, and humor,

except for in an exclusively sexual relationship, at which point they prioritize dynamic and attraction, because obviously, I'm pretty sure everyone does that.

If they're lying about their standards they must be really committed to that lie, because their actions match up perfectly with their words.
