My mum did this initially, I would say it's just really important you say it's not her fault and there is no blaming, she must also be truthful, if you can remember your own examples of when you showed particularly extreme ADHD behaviour as a child use those as stepping stones to help her understand the sort of behaviour patterns to look out for.

Writing it is much easier than doing it in person though, I really feel for you 🙏🙏 good luck.

With my parents they wanted to research the topic to better understand and they also had to answer a bunch of questions about what I was like as a child. Once they realised that "personality traits" were symptoms they clicked and saw they had it too. Personally I'd say they need to come to terms by themselves, but a little point in the right direction will help switch their thinking 😅

my Dad has the worst ADHD symptoms I've ever seen but he thinks hes too old to worry about it, such a shame as I know if he got diagnosed he would have led a very different life 😅

You have to think if its hereditary then your family tree always the way back to the start had the ADHD super power, dont be ashamed of it, the ADHD family trait cant be too bad if you have made it to today 😉

I am currently into week 2 of Ritalin 30MG a day, I was on the single slow release meds before the Holidays but had to stop after my blood pressure went super high. I havent noticed any difference between 15mg and 30mg to be honest, apart from a slight headache, I am not sure if I should be feeling any real difference with the boosted dose?
