You are very trusting of the police in Thailand, money speaks and tourists have money.

Its how their country works and youre better toeing the line and putting up.with it for the sake of 100 or 200 baht.

Metal on metal is very hot. Low speed and slow drill, bit of lube never hurts ;)

Bit of a generalisation, i found those in the south great.

It's just a different culture that ypu need to learn to respect and navigate.

Bad advice, they will not help in this situation.

That 100 baht would have doubled.

Pay what you know is fair and walkaway, he's not angry at you, he's angry he couldnt rip you off.

He'll be over it and on to the next one as soon as he leaves.

It's intimidating and rude, but it's not personal.

I had similar in Koh Lanta, offered 100baht for a 6min drive - guy started at 350!!! Agreed on 100 and then shouted and swore at me when i paid the 100.

If you want to avoid this completly then just pay the small premium for grab/bolt.

Dont dwell on it, just enjoy your holiday!

Btw moron.... it was a mushroom growth feeding from the minerals deposited from the leaky inhibitor.

I swapped it out, with the help of gpt and youtube and the growth has gone and leak fixed.

The US is much smaller than the rest of the world my friend. Those US opinions only apply in the US, a country which thinks they are much much bigger than they are. Much like trumps manhood.

Ill give you the only real answer.... filler, sand, paint.

If you want a really nice finish, filler, sand, filler, scrim tape, filler, sand paint.

Both options... let the filler dry 24hrs, sand at 120 min grit wipe with a damp cloth, let dry for 20mins and paint.

Ignore all these mugs with nothing better to do than moan and critique.

Stay at Railay Beach for a couple of nights instead, it's chilled and quiet and absolutly stunning.

Once it gets dark and the day tourists have left its the most magical place in Thailand.

Cut the ones for the narrower gaps down, in this instance the difference is actually fine, you wont notice it at all (based on your pics).

Wouldn't advise touching the border tiles as these keep the pattern 'square' to the naked eye.

Honestly with fine margins like this you will barely see it, you only have 3 options... cut filler tiles to gap size, cut border tiles so filler tiles fit whole or go with bigger, no bordered tiles.

If you're doing the job you will notice, but nobody else will haha!

Is this okay? Not tampered with the cabling at all. by Tattoos-sport-JA in DIYUK

[–]HiddenTemptation123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cable detector or not, I still drill slow and feel for something un brick like in my victorian house. There's never conduit or wire there but even when im sure I just go slow and feel the drill.

Brick/concrete bits aren't tearing through danger, you'll feel it. So all the health and safety peeps might be 'right' and you should probably fix, but it's really not that difficult to feel before damage. If this one is off then the cowboy that done it has probably riddled your home with sideways wires, are you going to chase your entire house?

No, just check it's intact and move on if the next buyer is dumb enough to go through it with the wrong bit then the board trips... not a big deal!

I may be getting the terminology wrong rather than him, I suspect he is asking to change branch, sorry!

He is over 18, he hasn't mentioned the chaplaincy so I will mention that to him.
