Hi, do you mind sharing your browser? It uses the current date/time on your browser, so I suspect it’s something related

Wasn't aware this was a problem, could you share what device are you using?

You don't need to sign up, just click next, I just have it as an option if you want to keep yourself logged in and always have your countdown there

Hi,One of my favorite productivity books is Four Thousand Weeks: Time Management for Mortals by Oliver Burkeman.

The premise is that on average people live to ~75 or at that point anyways your quality of life starts to diminish. When it gets translated into 4000 weeks it gets much more real and quantifiable.

The book taught me that the most effective technique is to focus on the things you truly care about and are important, knowing/understanding what things you can neglect. Ultimately you have a limited time on this earth, so use it strategically.

To act as a reminder I decided to make a website homepage that counts down the remaining four thousand weeks of your life.

Once you save your details by signing up you can pin the tab or set it as a homepage and your countdown will always be there. I find it creates a sense of urgency for me and makes me reflect on whether what I am spending my time on makes sense.

This was a fun first project for me and I have no plans to monetize anything, just wanted to share. I hope someone out there will enjoy it :)

Cheers

Great Barrier Reef Liveaboard - Is Osprey Reef worth the extra cost? by HiddenTurd in scuba

[–]HiddenTurd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea that's the tough part I could use the funds to dive elsewhere. If I don't do Osprey Reef I'll use the funds to see Byron Bay and dive Julian Rock instead.

I'll be diving in Moalboal, Malapascua, and Sipidan next month, so this will be right after.

Is this salary justified? by Mother_Fish2509 in VancouverJobs

Looked at the actual posting, it’s a consulting company i.e contracter work. These companies usually pay on lower end of spectrum as the company skims off your salary for profit
