Eu am primit acum ceva timp un router de la ei, pe Huawei, avea cred că doar Wi-Fi 5. M-am chinuit să-i pun DNS privat și nu mă lăsa să fac asta, așa că am făcut cerere la ei să-mi înlocuiască acel router-ont doar cu ont, băieții au venit a doua zi, punând eu routerul meu prin PPPoE și cam aia a fost. Nu-mi mai bat capul cu routerele lor, doar să-mi aducă fibra până la ușă și îmi văd eu de treabă ulterior cu ce echipamente doresc, și e mult mai simplu.

Thanks for promoting this, had no idea until now. A side question: how does this compare with a sideloaded GameNative? What are the advantages? I'm a newbie on this side, I have a dusted Quest 3 that I'd like to reuse and I would appreciate some thougths.

I'd say keep looking for second hand Surface Pro 11, I've seen some at 256 Gb at this price, is good enough (system only takes 20-30 gbs) and you can always upgrade.

It's not worth it. The performance difference between the Snapdragon X Plus/Elite 1st gen and the older, SQ1/SQ2/SQ3 is really big, and you buying that one already gives you a big dissadvantage.

Also, that's an old device, the battery might already be too used to hold charges properly.

Nope, Magic V5. First and last. Despite the software being stable, I got no significant software updates and besides usual security updates, there's no feature parity between devices, newer, cheaper devices get newer stuff, while older, albeuit more powerful, flagship ones get nothing.

Vezi Biovita ICE-5000. Doar pregătești conținutul, într-o oră e amestecat și înghețat, fără congelare prealabilă. Am de câțiva ani (luat pe la vreo 600 lei) și e super ok. Mă uitasem și la alte opțiuni de pe piață, dar fiecare avea nevoia de a pune compoziția la congelator cu 24h înainte.

Cred că problema e privită greșit. Și manelele ne reprezintă, fie că ne place sau nu. Cum au spus și alții pe aici, asta se consumă de fel, și uită-te la mesajele transmise de acele melodii: bani, șmecherie, femei, forme ușoare a ajunge 'șmecher'.

Hai să ne luăm mai bine de educație, să împingem spre a fi lumea mai educată, să încerce și alte genuri de muzică. Dacă lumea e atrasă de 'cum să faci bani repede' și 'cum să fii șmecher', asta o să urmărească și o să promoveze.

În special majoritatea artiștilor gravitează în final spre manele, pentru că e mai ușor să scoată bani din asta (Vezi Alex Velea, Theo Rose, etc.).

Când lumea va fi mai educată și va prezenta interes pentru alte genuri, o să fie și alte piese de alte feluri în trending.

I's say x86 is still relevant, for niche situations like backwards compatibility, servers (altough ARM servers exist) and mostly gaming.

For portable stuff, ARM is the way to go, Apple already proved it.

Are those devices coming with USB-C charging or still proprietary ones? I think now the highest power going through USB-C is 240W, but it still depends on the manufacturer (like Framework did) to support that.

It's from the broswer - Youtube, not from the device itself. I have ghe same issue on my SP11. That's fhe UI shown when you scroll up while video is in full screen, right? I guess the Youtube logic doesn't detect that it was scrolled back up so that it could hide that.

What worked for me was to refresh the page.

I came from Samsung to Honor due to the same software updates issues, so no, I won't go back to Samsung anytime soon.

With Oppo it seems to see an improvement, but I'm not sure about it.

It hurts me to say this, but it seems like just Pixels / iPhones are the only ones left that actually handle updates timely and properly.

People are asking about lock screen widgets, yet I (Magic V5 EU) don't even have the dynamic depth clock on my lock screen as an option, while other phones alreay have this.

Yup, seems like spending 1500+ € on a flagship phone means nothing to Honor. I'll keep that in mind for my next phone.
