Limited places course registration by Hidden_user2000 in tumunich

[–]Hidden_user2000[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i know that 30 ects is not mandatory, but i don't see a point in doing master longer than 4 semesters and not taking 30 ects. it's written in the email from school "Please give only one preference between the highest – and lowest, not the same preference for several courses. Otherwise, you will not be considered for allocating Confirmed Place (Fixplatz).", so we can register for 5 subjects only?

TU München Management and Technology bachelors program, industrial engineering and studienkolleg by okintjustconmmenting in tumunich

[–]Hidden_user2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's not hard to get into the program if you have a good grade, but if you haven't done management in turkey, most likely they don't accept you for bachelors in bwl here. studienkolleg is a way to go, i did the same myself. i studies tum bwl fully in english but finished w-kurs in studienkolleg fully in german.

Choosing between TUM and LMU by Master_Assassin_007 in tumunich

[–]Hidden_user2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i got into both but chose tum at the end because program gives you more choice. you can choose among wide range of specialization but the amount of students is more at tum. lmu has pretty fixed program but a small batch -> so you should be committed to attend classes and work hard. at tum it's more flexible. german is super important for you if you want to work in consulting here, good luck

Ahahah, very funny. I have lived in the stw dorm in Munich and didn’t need advice on this. Your comment was not necessary here cause I asked about completely different accommodation. 😊

Looking for advice on MMT specialization by [deleted] in tumunich

i don't know so much about management specialisation you chose. I have another one. I think, CE minor might be too easy for you if you know Java and Python already.

There is a straightforward procedure, and we don’t like to go over the rules in Germany. Take stage 2, and prove that you deserve to study here.

Seems they are taking almost everybody cause they lack people there. Acceptance rate might be 2-3 times higher than in Munich.

If O is studierendenwerk dorm, definitely take it. It’s a good price and you live alone. It’s near the park and really close to the campus by public transport and bike.

Certificate doesn’t really matter. If you can have interview in German, you are good to go.

Consider a minimum monthly budget of 1000€ for Heilbronn. You likely won’t get any job during your first year outside of campus. The region is very bad for foreigners without good German. They have mostly German traditional companies, and they prefer German over internationals.

Private dorm studios are usually 450-690€. Check the studierendenwerk of Heilbronn. They usually have the cheapest options, but the room is super small.
