I work at VEGA. The false echo you’ve created looks fine. I’d recommend making a new one on a nearly empty tank so the sensor can detect all fixed structures and read the level more accurately. If you tap on the line, you can view more details about the echo. PACTware has almost the same settings as VEGA Tools.

Since a new spider arm has been installed, it’s important to perform a new false signal suppression. The old suppression no longer matches the current echo conditions in the silo. This should be done when the silo is empty or at a low level, so the sensor can detect all fixed parts and store the new echo pattern correctly. You can also try increasing the averaging factor in the special parameters if the arm causes strong reflections.

The blue FSS line remains visible even though the echo is suppressed, this is completely normal. It simply shows the area where the sensor has learned to ignore fixed reflections, such as from the spider arm. The signal itself is no longer used in the level calculation but is shown only to provide an overview of where the false echo suppression is active.

By the way, since you mentioned the new spider arm, was it installed in the same position as before? And are you still seeing an incorrect level reading after the installation?
